It’s to make him carry Martin Jones on his back, and bring back a coaching staff that’s publicly called him out - and I’m sure been just a pleasure behind closed doors.

San Jose defence was pathetic..... he's 10x better than Elliott... The analytics on goaltending is bs.... flat out... Its $2 million for 1 yr.... Their familiar with him ...... I see no issue with this most the goalies in FA are not the best... Whats upsetting today is Savard went so cheap and we blew our load on Risto (I don't hate him like others at all but he's more cap , less years and more upside but far more risk plus a 1st and 2nd) .... You see some of these signings and you question does Fletcher have a read of the market (like he claims) or is he coming across in a panic mode that other GM's are trying to extort..looks like the latter

Yep. I'd have been happier betting on his track record than Jones, who is basically a lock to be one of the worst back-ups in the NHL.
