Again, you are ignorant. There is no shortage of downright progressive country songs from the 50s.

Remember how you slopped out a post about not talking about things you don't understand? That's you now.

I’m not saying the music is all racist. I’m saying that if your music taste is THAT dated, then your morals and values probably are too. If you’re so fond of that era (music, culture, everything included), there’s an extremely good chance that you’re a racist and a sexist in addition to having a bad taste in music.

Dude, my music taste ISN'T that dated. Did you know it is possible to listen to an extremely wide range of music? My musical range of interest from several centuries BC to right now. And as I've repeatedly pointed out, I don't listen to or prefer country. However, it is an important and influential musical genre with many interesting facets and so I know about it. Did you know it is possible to know about things without dedicating your life to emulating their worst stereotypes? It's true! Try it out sometime, it's fun. A hell of a lot more fun than being as mad as you are about someone casually tossing off a wrestling song.

If I'm a racist misogynist because I have a knowledge of a musical genre, does that make you a drug-addict woman beating rapist for listening to fratbro beats and wrestling music? Just trying to understand your logic here. Because according to your reasoning, that's the case for you. Come clean!

Oh god, who let Sting in here? We need to have some standards.

Sting rules. You know it, I know it, and original "Dune" knows it.

For the record, I was playing Fallout 4 the other day and I caught myself enjoying some of the 1940's and 1950's music on the in-game radio.

Not even 10 minutes later I was beating the shit out of my wife and forbidding her from getting a job, so he might have a point.

Checks out, as a mere child you're extremely influential. Please avoid Rob Zombie.

It’s actually not a wrestling song, it’s a regular song that happens to be used for a wrestler. And I smoke weed, so.

Please focus on becoming a better person, especially if you have kids. Don’t let them become so ignorant and hateful.

Also the fact that you think Reel Big Fish is fratbro beats is hilarious. Because all the DJ’s are blasting 90’s ska in clubs these days.

The last song that played was a jazz cover of "My Bucket's Got a Hole In It." -- Noted Bucket Enthusiast, JojoTheWhale

I never thought I would replace (not punching bags), but here we are.

So you do a lot of cocaining before you forbid your wife from being employed? From what you've posted about her, yeah, it checks out that you'd need to make yourself as powerful and reckless as possible first.

There is an easy way to see how varied most of the poster who are saying the choices given were 3 poor songs. And most wouldn't call country their favorite style/genre of music.

Yes you can chant along to Baltimora but why go for a 80's song that really only had a scratch on the cultural scene then and has only come back to prominence now due to something that is mocked like you mock country music.

I say this as a guy who DJ'ed in bars and events for a good bit of the 90's until I got a job that my on call schedule didn't allow it or I'd probably still do it today.

I hate when people feel as though they have to have an opinion on *everything*. It’s abundantly clear from what he said that he either doesn’t care for music or has incredibly bad taste, so why attack people and speak in absolutes about something you’re not particularly knowledgeable about?

Tarzan Boy and Beer are objectively upbeat, fun songs. There is current, tangible evidence of Tarzan Boy being fun and easy to chant along with. Beer was played in one of the best sports movies ever made in BASEketball. They’re both excellent choices. FWIW my vote was Bro Hymn.

Are you a big Second Wave Black Metal fan? I've only seen this level of gatekeeping in that community lmao

I don’t think wrestling is “widely mocked” anymore. It gets coverage on sports sites. One of Offset’s most popular songs is named after Ric Flair and had him in the video. It’s part of the culture.

If we make this techno tarantella the goal song and anyone likes it, they'll become compelled to guzzle pizza and mozzarella sticks. Team revenue will skyrocket and they'll afford to buy out AV. Let's do it.

Side note, wasn't expecting to google "Techno Tarantella" and have hits but here we are

I feel so bad for your family. Or, if they’re anything like you, they’re just terrible and screw them. Either way tho.
