The fan base chose Doop. No one could ever convince me otherwise. The Flyers organization chose this travesty.

Pretty much sums up the state of the franchise.

I don't want Doop tainted by this dog shit era of Flyers hockey. Save it until we are good again.

It's embarrassingly bad. They called it a contest, but no way this one was picked. I promise you it was the one with the cheapest rights. No hockey goal song should be called "this girl". Should just do what the Caps do and let players pick their own.

I watched the last few minutes of the Detroit-Vancouver game last night. That sound byte was played with less than two minutes remaining in a 1-goal game. If a fanbase needs to be prodded or told to clap hands in such a situation, there are deeper issues. Why not go for the gold and tell your fans to clap after a goal? I say "Everybody Clap Your Hands" should be the new goal song. That'll remove the veneer from what in-game operations is trying to produce.

Actually the people want a real goal song like "Doop" or "Ain't Talkin Bout Love" not some trash emo song or 80 new wave that is only liked due to a wrestling tie in. No one in this thread even mentioned a country song other than Oshie having "Take Me Home Country Roads". Which by the way is awesome when he scores at home.
