I would like to add I mostly agree with you, but there is some passable stuff. Townes Van Zandt, Johnny Cash, Sturgill Simpson, Langhorne Slim (newer artist from Langhorne, PA), Orville Peck. John Prine is a great song-writer too.

You have an undiagnosed case of spite deficiency. The quickest and best cure is to lean into your hate and sweep aside these sort of lame excuses. I can't tell you that you will feel "better," exactly, but you will burn more consistently.
