Hell of an experience last night; friend hooked me up with a free ticket, and while it was in the next to last row of the stadium it was also near center ice.

Definitely got cold as it went on, though, and that was with me wearing multiple layers all over...still, not as bad on that front as the Yankee Stadium game was, that one was a legit nightmare, especially since we lost that one.

It was funny, I kept feeling like I was seeing way too many Flyers fans (though most of the ones I interacted with were perfectly chill...ok, outside of watching one of them and a Devils fan in my section nearly start a fight, but I think both were to blame on that one), but whenever the crowd got going you could definitely tell it was very much a Devils home game.

Also realized it was my first event at Metlife, outside of going there when the Giants had their Super Bowl celebration in 2012. Parked in a lot in Secaucus and took the train, think if I do any other events there I'll probably do that again.

On TV it looked like the crowd was like 90% Devils. I hardly saw any Flyer jerseys

A fantastic experience I got to share with my wife, my best friend since I moved to NJ when I was 7 and his wife. I’m truly glad I got to be there in person. Something I’ll never forget.

Nico’s my guy so to see him take the flag and run with it was awesome. He’s an awesome kid and leader, and his importance to this team can never be overstated. The most comfortable I felt all night was when his line was on the ice. They were pushing play seemingly every single time.

That game at a full stadium really looked great for our state. Even the two NY teams have to come to Jersey to play. However, it sure looked cold. As for the team I think our goaltending was better and won the game with the help of our captain. Wasn’t crazy about the defensive game. Flyers entered our zone to easily and kept the puck in our zone for long stretches. However, happy with the win, just disappointed Detroit won. Who are we trying to catch the Wings or Flyers? I believe the Flyers have a weakness in goal, although they keep winning despite last night. Jack has to get it together. He seems very frustrated. Anyway, kudos to the Meadowlands and the Devils. P. S. Loved the Devil uniforms.

Watching some of the TV broadcast, I forgot to say last night that I can't believe they put that Messier reference into a video for a Devils-Philly game, even more hilarious that a huge portion of the fans inside the building(everyone under 30) weren't even alive and another good portion were still in diapers still when 94 happened. f*** off with that shit. NHL and ESPN are a bunch of clowns.

This isn’t a normal game, as much as they try to make it such. Both teams had trouble with odd bounces and dead pucks. They had to clean the snow multiple times through out the game. I am happy with the W and I will keep the analytics out of this one.

It’s so funny to me how taking too much of something that usually mellows and chills you out can cause the opposite. I remember taking half a gummy a few months ago and it had me nostalgic of things back from my childhood that I never even thought of in so long.

As long as you don't over do it they're great. Problem is they're over done a lot bc it takes so long to kick in. Last time I over did it was walking the halls of Ocean Resort in AC trying to find my room bc I forgot the room number on my way to grab a bag of M&Ms. Wife was asleep and not answering phone so it took a while. 10/10 would recommend though.
