Definitely. There was a noticeable Flyer contingent in the stadium, but it was very obvious this was a Devils home game.

There is so little about the actual on ice action that I was able to take I and absorb.

I legit just went through the whole night on vibes.

I'm glad we were leading the entire game because honestly this would have been a miserable experience in a going away L

I had such a blast, I was dialed on the game the whole time. Even though we were giving up a lot of shots I felt real good the whole game. Had a killer tailgate session so that helped lol.

Being a million miles away made it hard to follow the Xs and Os, but I felt the shot counter was off all night. It did not feel like we gave up that many shots.

From how I saw it we outplayed them the entire 1st. We played a shit 2nd but still came out up 2, and we mostly outplayed them in the 3rd.

Was definitely a massive blast.

okay...this is what I hate about these National Broadcasts :

On MSG Devils broadcasts, they would've shown multiple replays of the puck being tipped by Palat.

Here, there was no mention of a tip by Palat or anything regarding his involvement.

It made me think that Palat didn't touch the puck and it's just a clean rebound of a Nico shot that got to Smith.

That's why I was going nuts because there was no clarification except a bit later they basically said "oh btw, that goal is assisted by Nico and Palat. Have a nice day" and that's that.

I truly thought Bratt was robbed for the 2nd time. Stupid national broadcasts.

Just got back home.

What a great night for the franchise and the fans, the energy was great, arena staff were great. Loved that first Nico goal. That line had the jump tonight, as did Bastian. Only fails were the merch (not enough selection, Fanatics only no Adidas official ones) and the Jonas Brothers contaminating the air molecules.

But you can tell how ready this fanbase is to dominate once again. Absolutely epic and a great memory I'll have for the rest of my life.

Imagine freezing your you-know-what off but seeing the Devils do what they did (along with the other festivities, save the Jonas Brothers..bleh) making it all worth it.

I wish I went early and tailgated more !!! Met a friend of mine who is a Devils that live's up by Albany at the game for a bit before hand and we got to drink a few parking lot beers with my younger brother.

The game itself was great. It was close at times and the Flyers hung around for a bit but for the most part I thought the Devils played well despite the shot difference (which they managed to make alot more closer in the back half of the game). The Devils putting up 5 goals at even strength was a good sign too. I'm not gonna nitpick this game too much. You wanna see a bit more from Jack and Luke but they had decent games. It's a team sport and we got some great performances tonight from both Nicos , Bastian and Smith of all people. Smith was a +4 !!! Miller was a + 3 , Luke led defensemen in minutes while Nemec was 2nd in TOI for defensemen.

I'm just glad we won as we needed the win , makes you forget about the 2014 game quite easily. Devils had their moment to shine tonight , there's alot more work to be done but they made it a very memorable night for us fans !!!

Was at the game today. Great atmosphere although I prefer the Rock over any stadium. Hockey is not meant to be played in a stadium.

It was strange watching from so far up in the stands. Honestly, I thought we were the better team. I was very surprised we gave up 48 saves. Maybe advanced stats still say we were the better team (I did not read the previous posts as I don't like to do so, as it may influence my opinion).

Regardless, our Nicos were AMAZING. So excited for Daws. It'll be an interesting tandem of him and Markstrom.
