Yup. I hate that smartest team in the league mentality. There's a reason playoff teams load up. Give yourself every possible advantage, even if you end up like Boston this year or Florida last year

Pretty much 99.99% of this board said that Tkachuk will not repeat his 100pt season from last year and he was a product of playing with John Hockey.

Not only did Tkachuk put up career highs this year but he is the front runner for the Conn Smythe. Hats off to Bob but you have to give it to Tkachuk if he scores another 3 game winners in the cup final.

I don't know why people keep talking about them as "underdogs", they won the pres trophy last year.

And Tkachuk, jeez - THREE game winners in one series. The FL GM is the biggest genius right now in pro sports.

I think they got the underdog rep from having to face boston in round 1...

you could argue they knocked out the top 3 teams in the east, and made it look relative easy.

Not sure if I ever said it, but with limited viewing, I was fairly convinced Tkachuk was not a consistent 100 point player.

Boy was I wrong. Guy is pretty much every you want in a player, especially in the playoffs.
