How do you not get it?

If that goal counts then that Nylander goal is potentially the game winner and we're playing again tomorrow.

Its not rocket science.

And literally every fanbase does this. Even yours. And yes, even you have done it.

You need to be a rocket scientist to understand that ridiculous assumption of yours. So Nylander goal still happens IF the goal was called. Interesting

What the hell are you talking about? What does Habs pick have to do with Florida's pick?
The Habs own FL’s first pick, you know, like I said in the post which you replied to,
“#29 is now the best the pick which they acquired from FL for Chiarot can become.” Guess you don’t read all the way to the end before firing off some snarky reply.

Earlier in this series someone said the leafs were battle tested and played through adversity. I think it was @Divine any thoughts on how they played through adversity last night?

They played pretty well without their #1G.

Could have been worse, could have lost in the first round with their #1G.

The game when their best players quit

I know people like to say that, but Florida didn't win this series because Tkachuk or Barkov outplayed Matthews and Marner. The Leafs core outplayed the Florida core just as they did the Tampa core the round earlier, however the Florida depth players significantly outplayed the Leafs depth.

I also don't think Samsonov allows that OT winner in Game 3 as it was a bad goal, or the weak Ekblad goal in Game 5.

They were physically and mentally challenged and quit. Now they'll be broken up. Great job Dubas.

From what I could tell - Toronto forgot how to pass the puck in this series. The amount of turnovers was incredible from them. Generally beaten to the puck - lost virtually every board battle.

Soft all around team. Mentally and physically.
You could say almost the exact same thing about the Bruins in the first round…Bs took it to 7 but Florida caused those turnovers and battled hard to knock off the favourites in rounds 1 and 2

Thought Toronto was probably the better team in this series apart from Game 3, but FLA stealing game 2 from them and winning in overtime in game 3 killed the Leafs. Toronto got away from what made them successful against Tampa in this series. Playing for garbage goals and deflections/tips.

Thought FLA played well in the series, very good forechecking to create their chances and got good goaltending throughout the series, if Bob saw it, he was going to save it most likely. They did what was required to win against Toronto, play them hard and win the battles.
