Regardless. The video that I quoted, says the puck was clearly in. It’s not necessarily in, given the camera angle. If the goal line was painted on top of the ice, then the angles would not play such a factor.

Congrats Florida, heck of a playoff run and Bob is playing awesome!!! Getting though East has been a beast lately, your team had/has tough track these playoffs also. Need 4 more wins against a solid Canes club to hang ECF championship banner. Should be an interesting series....

Leafs had these playoffs open up for them after 1st rd exits, but ran into a very hot goaltender. It happens to the best of them but considering Leafs situation. They're past saying..... "Next year!!!" to make themselves feel better. It' not easy winning a "Cup", and it take much to line up to make it happen, but most other players/teams that took a bit to win had previous playoff successes to hang their hats on. Leafs don't have any of that so its hard to believe they'll eventually break through. They barley got by a weakened Lightning team, they didn't put up a great fight against Florida, and I don't see that 'It factor" with this bunch. Washington looked the part before gettign past Pens, Lightning got so close many times before breaking through, and even the Sharks at least shook some booty on dance floor before coming up short. This Leaf's bunch hasn't shown to much, if any, of that during their shortcomings. Good Luck, tough day for Leaf nation.

I totally relate. I’m still testy two weeks out!!! Gonna be a loooong summer for me. My guys went all in with an unbeatable hand. Until Florida had a better one.

The "goal" that wasn't is a gift to the Leafs fans. It gives them yet another excuse to believe that the world is against them and that it isn't their team's managerial ineptitude and their players' inability to play playoff hockey that keeps them in the category of pretenders.
