It really is sad how Matthews is so bad in the playoffs, dude could still get paid $15M by Toronto to keep this GREAT player, who always shows up in the same way. Then he says f*** IT and goes golfing.
Idk if he’s bad in the playoffs. Coming into this postseason, here are some comparables among some forwards and their goals/game rates in their playoff careers:

MacKinnon 58.57
McDavid 56.75
Point 50.00
Draisaitl 48.64
Matthews 43.50
P. Kane 38.23
Aho 37.50
Zibanejad 29.40
Barkov 23.07

43+% is really good. He didn’t score this series but neither did tkachuk. I don’t think that’s indicative of his playoff ability, sometimes it just goes that way. At least he has a track record

Florida's "pylon D" was the top scoring defense in the NHL. It's almost like you looked at the names and didnt watch the game. The Leaf "stars" were kept to the perimeter and forced to take awful shots due to a fantastic Panther forecheck. Maybe if they weren't so soft they would have gone ot the net and maybe scored a goal or two.
You expect leaf fans to actually watch hockey outside of their bubble?

Just like Bruins in 5. Just like WE WANT FLORIDA? Right?
Carolina is going to be playing a bigger, more physical, healthier, and more tested Florida Panther team. The Islanders and the Devlis are a cake walk.
Honestly Florida is a pretty average team outside of Bobrovsky. Easily the weakest team remaining if they have league average goaltending.

I get why you aren’t a fan of it, I’m sure I wouldn’t have liked it either
I'm not even a leafs fan.

Hell, even doing it to Samsonov had he not been injured I'm sure there would have been something there, maybe said, but I highly doubt Woll has said anything.

There's chirping and whatnot, but that shit in that manner doesn't belong, unless it comes out that Woll did say something, then I'll take it back.

"So when is the next John Tavares Day?"

I wasn‘t talking about scoring…

I believe my point was that he is a p***y. He doesn't elevate his game. He even doesn't play PK. He literally has bad hair and does nothing.

Its a hot take for sure. How many teams have this much scoring? Not to mention Ekblad was a Norris candidate just a year ago. The team is loaded with talent. Two 40 goals scorers a couple 30 goal scorers. They hit, fight, forecheck, It really shouldn't be a surprise.
