I am curious if anyone knows the answer to this question? What is going on with Kressler?

Played in the Blue/White game. Went to TC with Leafs, didn't play a game. Didn't make the main training camp roster. Did not see him last night at event at the Dort.

All I could find on him.



Isn't listed on the leafs roster as injured either. Hopefully its nothing major, seemed like he was really turning a corner late in the years and the playoffs.

Ian Michelone & Michael MacLean not listed on the roster anymore.

Currently 17 Forwards, 8 defenseman, 3 goalies.
 
A bit surprised to not see MacLean at least given a shot if it was the organization’s choice. As far as Kressler goes, it’s a bit concerning. He’s struggled to maintain his health and he’s a major impact player and a huge part of this forward group. I think a lot of people underestimate how good he can be if he stays healthy all year.

Going to see 1 Forward and 1 Dman still move on.

Ouch. He was the kid I said would be moving but I’d hoped for more than that. He’s not gonna lead the Gens in scoring but he’s gonna have a solid OHL career I think. I liked his game and bummed he had to go but there’s just too many kids up front right now.

For sure, would have been nice to get back at least a pick in the round he was drafted (4th). I liked his game and grit.

I picked up my Seasons yesterday and didn’t look through them too hard but was kind of surprised to see Petrou on them but not Pitters. Now this.

Only OA pictured was Cranley.

No rookies, no imports, no Pitters.

According to the rules thread dated 2017 down below, it says you can only have a 25 man roster.

Soooooo Im assuming we will see some more moves soon. 16+8+3 is 27, although Othmann is with the Rangers still, so not sure if he counts or not.

I thought he might get a few games, maybe the 9 and sent back. But this is even better.

Going to need to move 2 OA's, get a little draft capital, and then go add a dman at some point and hope Cranley is solid.

So, when do we have to go down to 4 OA's?
Also, isn't there a max number of players we can have on the roster?

4 sometime in November. There’s a deadline to get down to 3 in early January. I think…..THINK the roster is limited to 25 at some point but my knowledge of that rule is murky at best.

Reading that other thread, sounds like you just have to be down to 3 OA's a week before the trade deadline.

Someone in there said you could carry as many as you wanted, obviously can only dress 3.
