Today, there are no games on the schedule, you should know better than that. Why should I move to Toledo when I have a nice place in Williamsburg? How many fans are London averaging today? Please move to Toledo
Williamsburg Farms has turned into a Trailer Park…enjoyToday, there are no games on the schedule, you should know better than that. Why should I move to Toledo when I have a nice place in Williamsburg?
No way!!! OMG!!! I. Am. So. Impressed. Plus you get to hob-nob with ECHL hockey staff and probably their players too!!! They make like 40 THOUSAND dollars a year!!! Like there’s probably 2 or 3 MAYBE EVEN 4 players in that league that will become NHL regulars!!! That’s so crazy. Plus you get to post on this forum and impress all of us because you’re probably like an upperclassmen at Williamsburg HS and we’re still just in Middle School. No where near as cool as you. Thanks for sharing with us. We’d never be able to impress people on a hockey forum with stuff that isn’t even impressive. But you pull it off all the time.Today, there are no games on the schedule, you should know better than that. Why should I move to Toledo when I have a nice place in Williamsburg?
And it’s funny she brings up the Mud Hens who are 8th out of 10 teams in their division and a just about dead last…just like the Tigers…who are only behind the Reds or they’d be dead last.No way!!! Your so hilarious Savard18, but I still luv ya ....Williamsburg is not a HS. Those so called players that MAYBE never become NHL regulars drew 16,000+ for 2 games this weekend, how many of your future NHLers drew in Flint this weekend? You should know better that their not in it "for the money"....but for the "love of the game" as they so call say. Speaking of impressive, how about what happen to Terry Christensen, don't suppose he'll end up behind the bench at LCA do ya? Don't bet on it. Peace be with you.No way!!! OMG!!! I. Am. So. Impressed. Put a muzzle on him and let him help. Clearly built a winner in Flint in his first season on the job.Your so hilarious Savard18, but I still luv ya ....Williamsburg is not a HS. Playoff Wins up 600% since Rolf got the reins back. Records for this group across the board and some crazy impressive 16 and 17yo’s. On the downside…no suspension listed for Jack Thompson yet on the OHL site. That’s insane if you can cross check board someone that hard and only get 5 seconds of meaningless penalty. You could see even Thompson (who I wouldn’t necessarily categorize as a dirty player) knew he screwed up bad after the play and there’d be repercussions.Put a muzzle on him and let him help. It’s a Monday with no league games tonight. If he avoids anything from that after the refs reviewed and confirmed the game misconduct that would be a major OHL screw job.Playoff Wins up 600% since Rolf got the reins back. Well spoken Savard18, but the majority of people of Genesee, Lapeer and Shiawassee counties are not showing up at the Dort. Admit it, Rolf with all the money that he has, has been a failure in hiring people with proven experience and a successful record to market his hockey club. As a graduate of a sports administration program from a major university, my job is to mentor young people and place those who are aspiring a career in sports management. We DO NOT refer our students/graduates to Rolf Nilsen's team, his history is a major reason for that. We do have many of our graduates who are now with the Canadian Hockey League, not to mention the NHL, minor league and college hockey when it comes to the sport of hockey. I don't have to tell you since you have supported this team since day 1, that the support of the Firebirds has gone in the wrong direction and is even getting worse year by year. This team has shown progress on the ice and in the standings, but there are fewer and fewer "fannies" filling the seats of the Dort. Some folks will not like what I have to say, but until things change in Flint this franchise will continue to see fewer and fewer people in attendance at their games.I don’t care. Soccer teams in Europe draw fans. I’d rather mow my lawn than watch that (Sorry MJ5). I’m not interested in ECHL hockey, just like I rarely went to UHL/CoHL Generals games or the Warriors. If Flint was an ECHL team I’d go maybe 3-4 times a year. NHL, OHL, NTDP, NCAA, AHL, USHL in that order are all I’m really interested in seeing on a regular basis. If Toledo likes it and supports it, good for them. I wish them continued success.
It’s very personal for her, has been for a couple years now.No horse in this race, I have no position or info on the owner but......

Seems odd in the business you are in, the specifics you have mentioned about your career.......I'll leave it as odd to see someone in your position posting this on a community forum. Obvious reasons. Lots of reasons.
Seems personal as opposed to professional in conduct especially since it's all public. JMO.
Good luck Flint. Hoping to see Flint/KTown Western Conference final.
Are these more guarantees? Because you are 0 for 138 right now. Yes, a Flint/Ktown WC final would be great as Kitchener is my favorite OHL arena to visit. You hit it spot on when you said "I have no position or info." Best of luck to the Rangers as they have been the surprise team thus far in the OHL playoffs. No horse in this race, I have no position or info on the owner but......

Hope ya come back and see more of the foolish she’s always posting. Not a Ranger fan.
Having no info on the owner still doesnt explain you claiming to be in a position of mentoring and referring future professionals for jobs and publicly trashing an org. In public. Kinda rare but I guess if ya think it adds to your cred as a mentor n such......
Usually professionals keep that stuff off public fan forums (sure have that convo with your mentorees in private if u see value)
It can cost you cred in your business wether you are right or wrong. Pretty simple. Teams and organizations will see what you do when disgruntled and eventually .......... that wouldn't be good for your role you say you have.
It's personal, cool. JMO but it'll eventually hurt those you claim to wanna help
Yes, I knew that you were not a Rangers fan with the aresknights moniker. By the way it is not only my school that has taken action to not work with the Flint Firebirds but others have done so also. I've spoken up because this is happening in a town that I grew up in and have experienced in the past how great Flint can be as a hockey town. I have also spoken out about both Nilsen and Christensen and folks on here didn't want to hear about it. Well, you saw what happen to Christensen who was banned from the OHL for his actions. I will continue to protect the students of my university's SpoAd program as I have done for 23 years and have the support of my university 100%. The phrase around the SpoAd department here in regards to the Flint Firebirds is "don't touch that."Not a Ranger fan.

1 game, OHL letting him off the hook for a very dirty play.Playoff Wins up 600% since Rolf got the reins back. Records for this group across the board and some crazy impressive 16 and 17yo’s. I'm not going to say it. We all know what the discipline would have been if the jersey had been blue and orange. Guess I said it.1 game, OHL letting him off the hook for a very dirty play.
BingoXhekaj got 1. I wonder if they are shortening suspensions for the second round?
Guess it was a lucky he wasn't seriously injured like Dickenson was when Cardwell hit him from behind. The suspension may have been 2 games . What did Cardwell get for that hit from behind? Oh yea 15 games. This is why people think the league has a bias in the way it doles out discipline.
