Requesting trades to Florida and screwing your team over so you can coast in a low pressure market to a cup is pathetic. There is no way around that.

Stars in other sports love the big markets, they love the pressure. These guys all run away from it

Ottawa ain't no big market. He isn't running from shit.

They didn’t need it with that package.

They're not rebuilding and the only confirmed high pick is the 9th overall. This package isn't all that unless they're able to swing it for something concrete which uh, good luck, because you're f***ing Ottawa.

I mean it’s a star player with trade protection that clearly wanted to be in Florida. Just needed to make enough space.

This Brady move has been telegraphed for years. It's pretty obvious Brady was going to join his brother and his dad and go do something in South Florida by all the cup winning hobnobbing, and the guy doesn't seem like his own individual anyway.

Adding a weak playoff performer is kind of an odd move for the Panthers when they're trying to win now though

As we just saw with Marner, it's a lot different to be the 2nd best forward on a team as opposed to more of a depth role. Brady is going to thrive in Florida with the amount of talent they have and no pressure on him.
