I definitely think you can make it work, but with goalies there is always an element of luck involved. Look at someone like Bussi for example. You put a great team in front of even an average goalie and their chances of success go up exponentially.

The issue is that "an average goalie" is going to cost $5 million in free agency. Stuart Skinner is going to get a completely stupid contract this year as a UFA. They'll have to go with an ELC or a pure scratch-off guy at this point.

Rodrigues to PIT for a 2nd.
They use two 2nds and a prospect for a goalie

Gives them $8.4 mil in space

I don't think there's any chance someone is paying a 2nd for ERod and helping the Panthers out like that.

If you think the fans were booing the players I don't know what to tell you...
If you think players playing in 4 nations and Olympics aren't playing for there country and when that countries national anthem gets booed like it didn't doesn't matter. Idk what to tell you. The 3 fights right after tells me I'm right and it mattered.

This is exactly why I said the Sens are going to be a bottom 10 team next year. Florida still needs a goalie though. Thought they’d use some of that capital on Helly.

What are you doing Florida? What a massive overpayment. You have a player who doesn’t want to stay in Ottawa and still pay 3 1sts for one of the leagues overrated players?
