I joked about a Chucky-Bennet-Marchand yesterday, but I guess Boston wanted less value than anyone thought.
I dont think it's meant to be taken seriouslyI don't see it. I don't feel Brad double crossed/screwed over the Bruins here. They were never going to get much for him with the injury (on top of his age/UFA status).
I don't really care. Hope he wins in Florida, and retires a Bruin.
What's the condition ?? Can't find the details on the trade in this thread...They need to start listing the post # of where the trade is actually confirmed. It's a conditional 2nd....not a conditional first.
It's a 2027 2nd that could turn into a 2028 first.
dont inflate the price lol
from what I gatherWhat's the condition ?? Can't find the details on the trade in this thread...They need to start listing the post # of where the trade is actually confirmed.
Bs will do anything to screw the LeafsSo the 'ruins handed Marchand to a hated division rival for nothing.
Great job...
I get that...but that's what I was asking...what's the # of gp, or how far do they have to advance in the playoffs ? Lolfrom what I gather
We are not allowed to trade our 2028 First outright. So the work around that is that it is a conditional 2027 2nd, which can turn into a 2028 first.
I bet it's gonna be playoff related. Like X games or maybe if they win the cup
Marchand probably called his shot, maybe from a few options. He was injured and the Bruins probably would have just let him sit out the year if he was extended.wow...just a conditional 2nd?? I would have thought just a little bit more. Where was Colorado with this?
Still in queue so nothing firm.I get that...but that's what I was asking...what's the # of gp, or how far do they have to advance in the playoffs ? Lol
Injury problems? He's played in 91% of the possible games the last 3 years and before getting hurt a few games ago, he was on pace for a full 82 games.
Was pretty terrible in 4 nations, i am not loving this but Florida needed one winger imo. Well, depends on the price
For sure . AndBuyouts.
Marchand can, and ideally will, re-sign in the summer with the Bruins.
Won Stanley Cup in 2011 scoring 5 goals in the final series alone.Marchand had a short high peak but he’s a 36yo 65pt winger
Won Stanley Cup in 2011 scoring 5 goals in the final.
Played phenomenal for over a decade after that.
Made Team Canada in his 15th season.
Short peak ? Haha!
