I don't see it. I don't feel Brad double crossed/screwed over the Bruins here. They were never going to get much for him with the injury (on top of his age/UFA status).

I don't really care. Hope he wins in Florida, and retires a Bruin.
I dont think it's meant to be taken seriously

What's the condition ?? Can't find the details on the trade in this thread...They need to start listing the post # of where the trade is actually confirmed.
from what I gather

We are not allowed to trade our 2028 First outright. So the work around that is that it is a conditional 2027 2nd, which can turn into a 2028 first.

I bet it's gonna be playoff related. Like X games or maybe if they win the cup

I get that...but that's what I was asking...what's the # of gp, or how far do they have to advance in the playoffs ? Lol

wow...just a conditional 2nd?? I would have thought just a little bit more. Where was Colorado with this?
Marchand probably called his shot, maybe from a few options. He was injured and the Bruins probably would have just let him sit out the year if he was extended.

He's owed that much for an all time Bruin and I'm fine with getting less than what he's worth, especially injured.

I don't get why trade him for a 2nd round pick when he doesn't want to go.

The odds the return ever plays for them is low.

and it happened ...

Won Stanley Cup in 2011 scoring 5 goals in the final.
Played phenomenal for over a decade after that.
Made Team Canada in his 15th season.
Short peak ? Haha!

And he scored 40pts during the regular season in 2011

And when he actually peaked the bruins couldn’t win. Spent 5 minutes as the captain and the team immediately crashes and burns and is now rebuilding and he’s traded.

The Bruins had phenomenal goaltending, chara and Bergeron for over a decade.
