I'll explain this to you a bit better.

Carlo - 28 years old - 6'5 top 4 RHD with 2 more years left
Marchand - 36 years old - Currently injured and has an expiring contract.

Please explain to me what is hilarious? Did the leafs pay to much for Carlo? ya probably, but if they win the cup or at least go the 3rd round who gives a hoot.

Why are you talking about Carlo?

Injury problems? He's played in 91% of the possible games the last 3 years and before getting hurt a few games ago, he was on pace for a full 82 games.
He is currently injured as we speak. That is going to affect his value, and yes he has had a few different injuries in the past couple of years. He is obviously not the same player he was three years ago

Colye and Carlo are not the same player... ;)

I think of him and Tkachuk not as injured but resting so they can have full health bars come the final boss fight.

For a team nicknamed the Cats, there sure are a lot of Rats on the roster.

Great trade on paper, maybe one of the best in recent memory at TDL for value.

He's coming off back to back 67pt seasons and was on pace for 63pts this season. This guy was good enough to play for Team Canada a month ago

Brad Marchand cost the same as Anthony Beauvillier and less than Luke Schenn. Unserious. Congrats to the kitties though, absolute highway robbery. Now time for the Lightning to tank their way into the second wild card spot so they can go through the Metro bracket
