any word on if they may be sharing lawyers?

Or how does this work?
All in court at the same time?
Seperate court cases?

Not to familiar with cases like this.

Genuine question, if Philly knew about this inevitability when they were trying to trade Hart, were they required to disclose this info?

Also, did TB know when they traded Foote to Nashville last season? Did NJ know when they scooped him up after the Preds didn't sign him?

My guess is these teams all did. Hockey is small and the NHL's report has been done awaiting release for a while.

It's bizarre that teams were in a position of essentially rolling these players out there every night and acting as if this day wouldn't come, or having a trade asset with so much risk attached to it. Not to mention marketing those players to their own fans still. Carter Hart's jersey was the best-selling one for an active player on the Flyers over the past few seasons.

The whole league knew long time ago. It's a small world and half the players are still very young and talk a lot. They probably just hasn't had the confirmation just yet. But other GMs knew and they let them know for sure

reportedly hockey canada was already talking with her and trying to convince her on certain topics to change parts of her story, They paid for it to go away and bought her silence---when did that start

The civil suit is what scares me the most. You have to think the defense will try and twist that. Try to use that to their advantage in court to defame the victim

It's incredibly disturbing that you can take a group of 20 ish hockey players and (at least) five of them are capable of doing something like this. Whether you want to blame hockey culture, hockey Canada, or just men being pigs on general, this is really upsetting.

Trial not expected until 2026. These guys are done for years.
I still think they plead out

considering the nature of the case, I'm sure it will be all at the same time

Flames did what any team does when a player requests a mental health leave.

Direct your ire in the proper direction. The Flames angle is dumb.
Flames could have said "taking a leave of absence for a personal matter".

Mental health is a personal matter. There was no need to specify.

What did player 1 allegedly do?
Player one allegedly had consensual sex with the victim while arranging for the alleged group assault that happened later in the evening/morning. He was the architect so to speak, and I'm guessing the best looking out of the group.

If people think Alex Formenton was playing in Switzerland because he's not an NHL caliber player, I've got some news for you...

How did TSN figure it out the names when nobody on this board could?

Mind blowing journalism there.

It's one thing to connect the very obvious dots and have near certainty that we knew who the players in question were, it's another thing to actually be a reputable sports news organization with inside sources that can confirm it.

So. The five names are exactly the same ones we already knew they were.

colour me 1000% unsurprised. Management of the Flames, Devils and Philly should be fired asap. Flames the soonest.

Hockey Canada, Gary Bettman and whatever his first name is Daly - enabling gang rape culture to the fullest extent possible.

Are you sure about that? What do you know about what Hart told to Flyers management? Or the Devils duo to Fritzgerald?
Honestly man just give it a rest. You're accusing the flames of covering up a story that everyone knew would be national news within weeks. No reason to believe the Flames org did anything wrong.
