Goalies that can't stop pucks
Defenders that can't defend
Forwards that can't score.
Holland's Oilers.
Too busy drunk on his past red wings glory.
Can't wait for his next presser where he mentions Detroit or Chelios again.

Hey sometimes he mentions the guide and record book instead!Too busy drunk on his past red wings glory.

Maybe he can look at the Oilers record and see we're only a game above .500.Hey sometimes he mentions the guide and record book instead!
It's okay though. No players' feelings have been hurt so far and he kept all his promises to give ppl playtime and not waive them!Maybe he can look at the Oilers record and see we're only a game above .500.
If this team even dips below .500 (strong possibility given the next two teams we face), he should be gone, no questions asked. It's okay though. No players' feelings have been hurt so far and he kept all his promises to give ppl playtime and not waive them!
Development plays a huge role too. Ever wonder why every other team seems to hit on a late rounder every other draft or so? It's not a coincidence that Marino turned out well, he was developed by a competent team. The drafting of this team is just trash outside of like top 3 picks which they occassionally still screw up on (RNH over Landeskog, Yakupov obviously).
Puljujarvi
Yamamoto
Bouchard
Broberg
Holloway
Bring no where near enough to nothing and Bourgault is doing nothing special in the AHL.
Obessively collect draft picks ... and proceed to draft no one all that good. Hey that Noah Dobson sure looks like a really all around D who can score too (not just play 1 dimensional hockey like Bouchard).

The 1-2 punch of making poor choices at the draft, then failing to develop them properly. The easiest way to remove the problem is to do a full house cleaning. Remove all the losers from upper management and actually bring in some good minds. This will not happen because even if Holland is fired, Katz is the one making decisions and will just bring in Chiaholland 3.0
They spent the better part of a decade drafting players in their own backyard because nepotism. You can go back to the end of the glory days and find so, so many bad picks by this team.Development plays a huge role too. It's almost statistically impossible to be this bad at drafting.
Exhibit A: Dylan Holloway.Development plays a huge role too. Ever wonder why every other team seems to hit on a late rounder every other draft or so? It's not a coincidence that Marino turned out well, he was developed by a competent team.

My question is, who's determining how he's being deployed? Coach? GM? Someone else?Exhibit A: Dylan Holloway.
I'll be shocked if his development survives after how they're using him right now.
I'm not disagreeing that Holloway could use a bit more ice time, But Paajarvi looked great in the preseason too. Holloway has been okay, but everyone thinking he's a Calder nominee needs to calm down,My question is, who's determining how he's being deployed? Coach? GM? Someone else?
Bet hard on your golden boy 1st round pick D-Man Being the Upgrade Needed For D
Watch as he stinks up training camp
Then gets injured in a kitchen accident while in the AHL.
#Just Oiler things.
Why would he sweat bullets? He likely won't be canned until we've lost a dozen in a row.Holland is probably sweating bullets right now.
Roster built on a house of cards, ready to come crashing down at any moment now.
And we haven’t even had the annual McFlu season yet.
I'm not even asking for Calder nominee but he's being wasted in his current role. Guys like McLeod should be in the bottom six, not Holloway. If you're not going to play him in a scoring role then send him down.I'm not disagreeing that Holloway could use a bit more ice time, But Paajarvi looked great in the preseason too. I'm not going to cast my vote because there's always a chance this team comes out and ravages the Islanders tomorrow, but if we're heading into December below .500 then you have to fire him. The team only lost 27 games in regulation last year. We're already 1/3 of the way there.poll added.
Simple yes or no.
