Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Im wondering which goalie the smart guys thing we should get.

People shouldn't get so worked up about it (and by that I mean Holland's ass constantly being under the hot stove). That's how this job is going to go as long as McDavid and Draisaitl are here.
When there are losses and aspects of the roster are underperforming, the GM will take heat. There is no leash. You get none. You either build a Cup winner or not, nothing in between is good enough. Don't like it, don't work here, simple as that.

I find it funny that without question this has been Holland's best, likely only, good offseason on paper with limited cap.
It will be interesting if his moves pay off in the long run but he did make the correct moves as far as I could tell this year and that is coming from one of his biggest detractors.

With how he spends, it might be his best because he had limited cap haha.
It's not really nonsense though, a lot of the key pieces or gambles he made in the summer aren't really looking that great thus far (bet on Campbell, bet on running it back with Puljujarvi/Yamamoto as the RW depth, bet on Broberg to make the team, etc.) and he's gonna get heat for that.
Just how it goes.
Holland does need to pick up the pace here, if he's gonna take this long to address all areas of the team it's going to be several more years before the roster has some real balance.

I'm pretty apathetic towards Holland at this point.
I'm fairly convinced he isn't the right guy for the job and that his hire will go down as one of the biggest mistakes in this organization's recent history, but I'm resigned to the fact that he isn't going anywhere and wanting him gone is just a waste of energy.

Not to worry, Holland can blow another 2 2nd round picks to get Arizona to take him in the summer.

But I was told by Holland apologists that the 2025 2nd counts as a 3rd so he really "only" gave up 2 3rd round picks for the albatross contract he signed in the first place! Meanwhile Chicago gave us their 2 year 5.5 million dollar cap dump 7th dman not only without giving up a 1st round pick but making us pay assets for it!

They're both bottom pairing D. So are Murray and Niems. This defense is just Darnell Nurse 1v11 every game every minute every shift and has been ever since Klef LTIRetired.
