The only one willing to play the right way when it comes to physicality, regardless of Trouba's actual defense. Why were 93 and 20 passed for captaincy when they were the perfect Rangers? It wasn't because of personality. It was because the organization knew they were p***yes and you can't have a p***y for a Captain. So this year, Trouba gave up after the trade attempts in the summer and now we have an entire top three "leaders" of p***yes. Biggest one being 93. Flapping in the wind.

How about strip Drury the GM and make him coach and make Laviolette GM. Maybe Drury needs to be at ice level to fix the mess he made with those leaks

Last time that happened Sather got strapped with a cap and was forced to rebuild. I'm sure Sather sat there with the cigar in his mouth thinking why can't these bum coaches get my mercenaries to play better, I'll just do it myself. Then he got a closer look and was like oh f me.

I think Drury can see it but he may need to step in to rebuild his relationships with whatever is leftover.

Ugly times in Ranger land. That was a tough watch. I don't actually think the Devils had that many more really good looks than us, they just really capitalised on what they did create and made sure most of our chances were 1 and done. Plus their PP getting it done and Shesty looking pretty average.
But once again we were out worked across the ice and looked like we had no idea what we were doing or how we could create pressure. Drury has already said this group is is done, but you have to assume he's really looking to make some moves sooner rather than later.

All the special teams play in the 2nd kind of messed with ice time, and I know Mika plays PP and PK, but at this point he should not be leading forwards in ice-time and Kreider shouldn't be 3rd. And Edstrom should be playing more than 9 mins.

Laf really has turned back into a ghost and that's pretty concerning if the idea is start turning over the team to guys like him.

He does not have leadership capabilities in him.....his body language and lack of effort show it almost every game . If he could bring back Tkachuk I would drive him back to Canada in a heartbeat .

This team would rather win a game 5-4 making 40 cross seam passes then winning a tough 2-1 game. That's why they won't be Champions.

Look at the Panthers under Q/Brunette and then Maurice. They went from 5-4 games to 3-2 and 2-1 slobberknocker games. Full team commitment.

We got 18 individuals floating around aimlessly.

1. no one trades this early in the season, especially not for a player of significance
2. who can even afford our garbage? even at 50%?
3. Drury probably thinks this is a down on it's luck playoff team because he has one single empty egg shell for a brain

they can drop the next 8 and we're not getting any reprieve from the disgraces that stain the NYR jersey anytime soon.

realistically, there’s only a handful of moves you can make at this point. A big trade is just not gonna happen.

Maybe you move a guy that will be easier to trade, but I don’t see how that addresses any of the problem areas.

You could fire the coach but going on your third coach in 24 months is kind of crazy. And I’m not even sure there’s an upgrade coach out there at the moment.

And if you bring in Quenneville you’re inviting a whole other shit storm along with him. I almost wanna see Drury hire Quenneville just so we can see how Drury handles the fire storm that ensues and inevitably blows up in his face.

Then the only alternative is to play Fishstick hockey until we can move the gutless /quitter losers elsewhere and play third /fourth line AHL guys for GOD knows how long. I'm good with it as long as we are last OA next season and steal McKenna from the Penguins . Add a trio of pugilists for the balance of this season and make Shesty be like Hasek from the Sabre teams in the 90's .......lots of fights and saves but little success LOL.....we need it for two seasons . Stockpile picks and then good to go . In the meantime watch the Devils/Canes/Leafs win Cups .

The captain of the team does not care anymore. He's quit on the team. How can they move forward if that isn't rectified? Not to mention he is the worst defenseman on the team, outside of Lindgren. They should waive Trouba like Goodrow. That's how you answer back on a guy who is holding the team hostage. If no one claims him let him go to Hartford or sit out and let his agent find a team he wants to play for. It's an untenable situation that Drury never shouldve let get this far. He needs to be gone before we start dealing with the rest of the rot.

So why does Mika have an A? Does A stand for Ass cause he's been playing like an qss the past 2 seasons. I wouldn't want any young player to look up to a player afraid to battle, play North South hockey and get in scrums to defend himself or a teammate. Does Mika stand for wussy in Swedish? Mika already sounds like a women's name. Maybe the Rangers can get some of the women professional hockey league players to play for the Rangers that would show more bite than Mika has and some might play better defensethan Trouba and Lindgren.

All these dramatic moves everyone wants to see happen, I get it it but this isn't the organization that's ripping letters off guys jerseys or banishing starts to Hartford. That stuff is old school where ownership is invested in more ways than just financially. This is a corporation with HR values.
