Well they have a pretty easy schedule next 4 games against losing teams so don't get your hopes up too quickly. Mind you, after that they couls go on a lengthy losing streak.

Pitt has been playing better lately.

Mind you, this same group just got clown pounded by Philly and basically played to a stalemate against Montreal so I don't think they're really a lock to beat anyone.

has to be under 100k.

The rangers social media manager has zero personality, not allowed to shit post, and just fires out the most basic xitts all day.
Good, hate those try hard team accounts

Supposed to bring my 4 year old on Sunday. Might have to sell the tix. Can't expose him to this beta male behavior during his developing years.
Tell him to watch the other team

Go ahead & fire Lavi

Nothing will change except maybe... maybe... a little effort.

But a coach change, AGAIN, won't fix this roster & the massive nosedive of certain players.

Some of whom you could see coming since the Industrial Revolution.
Do both

I want 10 more losses in a row to kick off the fire sale. f*** their Christmas.
Fox doesn’t celebrate Christmas.

Shesty and Panarin don’t celebrate it until January or something

i'll say it til i'm blue in the face: this team is not as bad as they are playing. they gave the talent and the ability to play a brand of hockey that wins in this league against most teams on most nights. They have the opportunity to turn this season around.

but without change there will be no change. They need to get rid of ryan lindgren, and they need to choose to play the right way.

But as frustrating as it is to watch, and as much as it feels like we had our shot last year and blew it, i think it's worth acknowledging that there are a lot of players on this team who are part of the solution.

On a side note, I was flipping through the channels one night, bored, and found the most amazing sport. Professional pillow fighting. It's a thing.

Yep. Didn't believe my eyes when I saw it.
If it's not all Victoria Secret models scantily dressed, it's not going to be a thing very long.

Should never have fired Gorton imo

Our defense sucks at defending and breaking the puck out, it's a lot to fix for guys that have been in the league this long, if they haven't figured it out by now......

I’ll agree it’s a talented team. But it’s not a good *team*.
There are some common denominators and Lavi is not one of them.
This is the problem. The players themselves are talented. The *team* itself, as constructed, is not talented -- it's hot garbage

On the other hand…

Weird thing is that 6 of the next 7 games are against (mostly) sub-500 teams. On paper at least, there’s the opportunity to “seize the moment” maybe go 5 and 2 at least.

They’ll need some kind of momentum, as 7 of the 9 games after that are against the top teams across the league.

On the other other hand, it’s well possible they’re out of the race and the season is essentially over come January 11, 2025.
I would love nothing more than this team to fall the f*** apart and miss the playoffs with this roster just to expose what a shit GM Gorton was

Please.

Gorton is the one who got us INTO this mess by spending a 1st and $56M on trouba... This team has lived and died on that f***ing contract because of what an albatross of a player he is. Complete disaster

Miller has shown himself to be the problem on the top 4... Something has to give here

is core is finished. The players are not finished, any collection of these players will flourish elsewhere, but as constructed currently this roster is no longer competitive.

Zibanejad is a talent center. This is not the team for him

Trouba is an average #4-5 dman. He is not worth $8M and clearly there is a rift with him and management. Gorton is an idiot for giving him an NTC and giving him the leverage to control his destiny. That's shit GMing when Trouba was the one who could have been making the concessions because he needed to be here for personal reasons.

Kreider is an amazing piece that will always put up a 50-60 point performance every year and will bring more than just those points, but a major issue on this team is the kreider-zib combination. While I admit that Drury has completely f***ED himself with no real RW1, there's also the point to be made that clearly NOBODY can play RW with Kreider and Zib.... That's a line construction problem, and yet somehow these guys can't play with anyone else. That's a major problem with this roster and a significant reason why RW1 has been a God damned carousel for the last 5 years

Millers development has stunted here. Either get him some better coaching or move him, this is his ceiling on this team

We better better hope that panarin wants to stick around on a shorter term deal because if he walks we're going to suck so bad. Him, laf, trocheck are the key remaining pieces here

This team needs something NEW, not something BETTER.

Blessing in disguise. I don’t wanna pay Igor, Miller, or Lindgren and have these guys taking up the cap just so this country club can be mediocre for the next 8 years.

Thing is we don’t have a superstar to build around so we are screwed. Let this play out. Let some guys bring up their trade value. Then you retool, and please find a way to get rid of Mika
