Fire Jack Capuano the worst defense coach in the league! 3 years straight! That will send a message to DJ and the players!

Cant believe Dorion watches this team each night and doesn’t see major problems.

Dorion’s love of loyalty is a management blind spot - he’s putting his own personal feelings for DJ above the good of the team. Its Stupid

You raise a good point. The dump and chase really does limit the odd man rushes against but it doesn’t matter if we don’t have the personnel to do retrieve the puck regularly. DJ has tunnel vision on not giving up rush chances.

His record was making the Leafs play terrible defence.

Whats weird is there are so many mistakes still lingering this season (Zaitsev, Whatever is going on with Formenton and that stink, D.J. Smith as coach, Debrincat negotiations, last place team ) - so much stink around the club DJ who has been nothing short of a bad coach for this team seems like a stabalizing influence because there are just so many immediate mistakes to fix they need DJ aorund just because hes a good guy. Hes not helping the team win, but just not being bad media at this point in Ottawa means youre good enough for Dorion
 
This is a becoming a wasted year. I want to like DJ. I do. This team looks likes its playing on talent alone. No real structure or cohesiveness. Its awful. Bring in a coach not some Leaf cast off who still thinks Zaistev can play.

He's terrible at his job. What makes you think this isn't his fault? He has literally hired and picked every single person on the ice and the bench. It's obvious he isn't allowed to make anymore changes.

Remembetr after the DeBrincat trade, when he was asked about a defenceman and he answered "The other GMs see me coming now" or close to that? Well Dorion, do you see new ownership coming? Lol.

Actually this may be a good move. Bring in someone with clout and specifically task them with defence.
Yesterday’s game stood out for bad defence once more. Players openly angry with each other after goals against because nobody is in the right position. That has become a hallmark of DJ’s system.

That's a move that should have happened last year. Instead, we prevented him from interviewing with other teams.

The team is waiting it out until ownership changes, we'll get new coaching along with a new GM then. I don't see any changes until that happens.

Please take Andrew Brunette before he’s taken by another team.

Look at all the top teams in the standings right now. almost all of them made some type of coaching change in the summer.

If only we had some kind of standard for winning, maybe we would finally move on from this junior coach.
