You Americans don't scare me. We have a stone cold killer. Some kid named Crosby, maybe you're familiar?

Always interviews like he's waiting for his dealer.
Showing footage from 15 years ago isn't exactly the flex you think it is.

Come on man, I've never even heard of this Matinpalo guy. Quinn Hughes to Sanderson is way less of a drop-off than Heiskanen to Matinpalo or Vaikannen or Olli Maata
but if he isn't enough to propel Finland into a Championship win here, thus it becomes a moot point or an indifferent point. In otherwards who cares if Heiskanen improves their defense when they are still the 4th best team in the tournament, On the hand, Hughes can actually be the difference between Championship and no Championship that's why he is more important to the team and really the tournament at large despite Heiskanen being a key cog to Finland. Missing Hughes will possibly be the difference for USA, whereas Heiskanen isn't going to make Finland suddenly a contender.

Well, in 2016 they still defeated Finland and NA Young Stars and lost close games to Sweden and Canada.
Besides Russia won gold and silver in the last two Olympics despite it being without the NHLers which is better than any nation

Yeah and that silver they lost to Liiga Finland team.

Look I'm not saying Finland is the better team than Russia, just that there's next to nothing between them in international play for the last 15 years.

FWIW I'd much rather Russia was participating in this tournament than doing the things that got them banned, the tournament would have better hockey and the world would be a better place, but we don't always get what we want.

Weren't they banned from international competitions for running a huge doping program?

I mimicked the post who was quoted who pointed out that Canada didn’t metal at this years would juniors.
I wasn't really correcting you. I'm confused about using metal or medal. So I deliberately used meddled instead of medalled or medaled.
The things are probably plastic now made in China.
