I didn't think the scoreboard showed the full truth. I think we played a really good game up to Määttä penalty. I felt like it was more 3-1 or 4-2 game than 6-1.

Henrik Lundqvist being at the Knicks game instead of the tnt panel last night was certainly a weird choice.

They really didn’t. USA outplayed them and got unlucky with a couple posts in the first. Score was indicative of the talent discrepancy tonight.

Yep. Finland stood their ground and played a pretty strong team game. With who was on their blueline, thats impressive.

I am not sure what game some people watched there, but for the 1st half of the game Finland looked even slightly better.
The basically lost when tried to play more open hockey then their typical defensive style. Should have stayed with their game.

If we have learned anything the last two days, it’s that the soft one-dimensional guys like Keller, Caufield, Bedard, Thompson etc were rightfully left off. This is big boy hockey, they would be liabilities and aren’t good enough for Top 6 duties
