Slafkovsky is gonna be jumping this game. Let’s hope coach includes him on PP. Austria’s defense is gonna have a real tough time handling the size and speed of Slovak forwards.

OK there is a way to watch it. Go to iihf.com, click on "Live Stream", it will complain but give you a link to olympics.com, click on it and watch the game you want. Doesn't work on an iPad, but does work on a laptop.

it works, but its commercial every 4th minute or so, it gets on my nerves

I have never seen a roster that Austria's defense didn't have a rough time handling so this is probably true by default.

A pretty laid back 4-0 lead so far. Not really seeing a lot of continuous effort from our guys, coasting.

Dont know how to describe what I feel. This is the disappointment that I expected to feel.

Why is it funny? Poland is stronger than ever.
They are still a low-end D1A team at best and this "ethnic" roster could be much improved, in theory.

Poland is slightly underrated (which they have caused themselves by constantly underachieving in WC) but Belarus should still just absolutely crush them.

Lines did not click well, then again, many have played their first game in months.

I liked 4th line tbh. Defensivelly we looked alright.

Korea will not take any points in this group.
Just 4-1 but 49-9 in shots (Norway-Korea) is brutal.
We miss a good sniper to utilize all those shots, and all the puck possesion we had.

It's harder to open a up team that just wants to defend on the NHL rink(60x26 m) than on the international rink were you get more space for good skaters. But our physical players like Martinsen, Lilleberg and Lesund will be useful in this tournament on small ice.

Slovenia tomorrow will be a real test, they know how to play this game.

Qualifier question. According to the IIHF website Great Britain and Kazakhstan won qualifiers in February but I don't see either country in the final groups or playing this weekend.

Are they done or is there more pre-Olympic play?
