You need to embrace your inner Bernmeister, Chytil could easily net a 1st, 4th and an ELC player. Not what I was going for

16 game player if ever there was one.
Necas 5 points zero goals in playoffs. Lundell 1 point in playoffs. Two guys who many thought Chytil wasn't even in their league.
Is this our future number 1 line when the vets get old?I see a boy turning into a man before our eyes.
Kid is getting to be a little clutch too. The 5th goal he scored to shut up the Canes fans and the reaction from him and Laffy was priceless.
He is getting addicted to that feeling and his confidence is brimming.
He’s 22. Laf is 20.
I don’t think the point was to run down either player. I’d still take ‘em on my team. Young players have ups and downs, hit walls, develop at different rates and we need to remember that when talking about our OWN prospects too. There’re a lot of folks on here that need instant gratification or bust. On a side note, I wonder if FL will trade us Lundell for a 2nd… hahaha. To be fair to Lundell, he completely hit a wall and his team completely fell apart.
Fil has more than double Necas' career playoff goal total though.
Love that movie. What is this? A center for ants?Chytil... So hot right now... Chytil...

The fun thing about him is that his game is so linear. On a team that has a lot of dipsy doodle passers, he just wants to stickhandle the puck into the zone and then put it on net.He doesn't have the IQ to play that Fox and Panarin type game. Maybe it develops the more experience he gets.
He needs to constantly be attacking and moving his legs. That is when he is at his absolute best. He can tilt the ice. See Chris Kreider.
Interesting tidbit from Staple at the Athletic today. He actually beat out and was faster than Grabner in the Rangers conditioning testing. Grabner has always been in impeccable shape and is as fast as they come. Impressive. Keep playing with pace and effort... everything else will work out
Most definitely. That comes with the experience/IQ though IMO. His effort is there, but his defensive coverage has not been good enough. The fun thing about him is that his game is so linear. With that in mind, if I were him the two things I'd focus on in the offseason is improving his defensive game and getting better at draws. Make it so the coach wants to play him whether he's producing or not, and the production will come through volume.
