I would drop Phillips and probably Zobrist for Gallo.

If anyone is in a keeper league or a one year league and needs a streaming U, Josh Bell is really heating up for the Pirates. Wouldn't be surprised if he goes on a little tear here over the next several weeks. The power has been showing a bit more, and he'll maintain a good OBP.

I'm debating whether I can add him. I already have Thames at U, and my other is Corey Dickerson, who I think might be a better current streaming option, but I'm not quite sure.

Yea I dropped Phillips, he's one of my worst performing players and I don't need him now that Jose Ramirez has 2B eligibility (pretty sure he was 3B/OF at the start of the season)

Is it time to drop Jon Lucroy for Austin Hedges? Lucroy has been pretty bad this year and while he's a top 3 catcher, he has done nothing for me offensively this year.

Yeah, it's highly likely that Lucroy will turn it around. I wouldn't get too crazy yet.

My RPs just absolutely hammered me this week. Neris last night got me -40 points, and today Daniel Hudson is at -25 or so and counting. They are going to be the reason I lose this week, and drop to 1-3. Extremely frustrating -- Joe Ross being absolute and complete **** isn't helping me either.

It's my own fault for taking the gamble on Hudson, but Neris was a real fluke.

As a Neris owner he's kinda looked shaky for a while. I expect him to be moved back to the 8th and Benoit to the 9th.

No. Hedges isn't a fantasy catcher.

No. Hedges isn't a fantasy catcher.

Hedges started the season 0-24 but since then he's 15 for 53 (.283) with 6 hrs and 15 RBI. I dont see why he's not a decent starter. Still only 24, so there's a little upside and he's been hitting in the 5th-7th spots so he should post decent RBI totals.

He's been a good pickup for me since Sanchez got hurt.

I'm 1-3 in my league, and so thinking that I need to try and get an impact player while I wait for some of my players to get healthy or come back from suspensions. Going to bid more aggressively on Glasnow and hope the upside shows sooner than I expect. Currently have a $6 bid on him, which I think should be enough, and not sure I want to go any higher, because I'm nearly certain that it will continue to be a struggle for him for about 3-4 more weeks minimum.

He gets enough Ks that he really isn't in danger of a disaster start in my league, which comes more with HRs as long as you are someone who misses bats. However, given how badly the Reds own the Pirates, I wouldn't be shocked if he has his bell rung again tomorrow. Going to trudge forward anyways, since the appeal of keeping Matt Boyd does nothing for me, and there are very few other options short of a full scale rebuild. I'm probably overreacting, but my team has been a serious disappointment this year.

The walks are in my opinion the biggest thing that kill him, and currently it looks like the biggest problem is fastball location, which you would think is more fixable. His offspeed stuff has made many very good hitters look absolutely foolish, which is how he's been able to rack up the Ks.

Obviously, 4-5 BBs a game will always result in disaster, sooner rather than later. If he can stick around 2 BBs, I think his upside will manifest pretty quickly when he's able to locate his fastball better. In one of the games this spring, he was able to show some pinpoint control with a two seamer, as well as a curveball (which he's used fairly well in regular season games). I haven't seen that kind of control since then on the fastball, but the Pirates seem pretty committed to letting him try and find it in MLB.

It looks like I was wrong about Bellinger, although I read that they're sending him down when everyone gets back.

Which is incredibly dumb given the Dodgers offensive struggles. I dont think he'll be down for long. He's this years Trea Turner.

I won Glasnow at $5. Something of a risk, but my team needs some kind of luck in the worst way. I figured I can live with wasting $5 if he keeps flaming out, and if he does start moving towards his upside, it will still be a decent keeper price (would be $6 next year).

I may be resigning myself to a weird kind of rebuild this year, in which case I might want to start shopping Kershaw, Thames, Lucroy, some others.

Whoa, just noticed that Joe Ross was optioned. Thoughts on him? I don't know if his upside is really worth continuing to roster him indefinitely... I paid 19 for him in the draft, which is way too high, but I expected him to be pretty solid. I imagine he'll get his **** together in AAA and come back and be ok, but he's not worth thinking too much about, right? Better to be cold and move on with the roster spot.

My team is such a mess. Lucroy performing terribly, skating by with Cesar Hernandez and not sure whether to keep streaming him or return to a healthy Forsythe, Marte wasting a spot, Polanco absolute trash, Braun constantly hurt, Kershaw underperforming, Ross, Hamels, Moore mostly trash, Matz, Nola perennially hurt, praying for an unexpected breakout with Glasnow.

Probably should just more or less ride out a 3-4 weeks, see if I can get to around .500, and keep an eye on streaming options for pitchers and certain bench players (Hernandez and Dickerson are doing on, but could easily be dropped at no problem if their matchups look bad). My league has a lot of parity, but I don't have any confidence I can pull off a win this week, and 1-4 is a pretty bad start.

Yup. Who else is going to start in left over him? Andrew Toles? Enrique Hernandez?

I took Ross in the first round of my keeper draft (he wasn't protected). I expected a lot of him, but until he develops a third pitch, I don't think he'll be that effective. He's basically fastball and slider only, which isn't going to work for a starting pitcher. Even worse, the league is heavily weighted on wins and losses, and to see all of that run support go to waste sucked.

3 BBs and a meatball HR for Glasnow tonight in the band box of Great American Ballpark. Maybe it wasn't completely stupid to add him, but I am an idiot for starting him tonight. My team is such a disaster.
