Seems like it's been quiet on the Nino rumor front, maybe he will be one of the day 2 guys and come back here for a reasonable amount.

I thought NYR were all in on Kadri... Maybe Tro is their backup if they don't land him. Really don't see how any of this fits into their cap.

Vegas may be interested in some of our older prospects for organizational depth, although all of them aren’t waivers exempt

They're going to struggle to fit Tro under their cap, ain't no f***ing way they'd be able to manage the cap for Kadri.

Someone not mentioned. No one seems interested in....Ryan Strome. I wonder if the borg sees him as a cheap Tro replacement stopgap.

Aren't these the same guys who once said 'if Carolina wants your player, your best course of action is to keep that player'?

The last few years should have only strengthened that mantra. And yet, it seems like every summer we still get the same hot takes that GMs are taking advantage of us with our moves and that our front office is relatively clueless. If we get Burns, there's a really good chance we look back on it next summer going 'why did SJ give up on him that easily'

They could be talking about Dallas. Maybe Carolina has already noped out to another option.

Yeah but the fact we're even kicking tires there means its probably not a great idea for them to trade him away unless they're actively looking to blow it up and start over. Which, they might be trying to do, who knows.
