Perunovich seems to make a lot of bad passes when no teammates are open. He just passes the puck anyway, with less than a 50% chance a Blue teammate will be able to get it. He should hold on to the puck, and proceed up ice, slowly, until a teammate comes free for a safe pass. It's not like he's a weak skater and puckhandler.

He is actually regressing at this point. When he first broke into the NHL he used to make some nice passes at least. I don’t see him do that anymore, and he still refuses to shoot. There is nothing about his game that has improved.

I wish our Defenseman could pass well enough to allow our fowards to get nice one timer passes like that. Our Defenseman's passes on the PP are way too hard and usually in poor locations for our forwards to fire one-timers
