He was just transported from ICU to a Neuro Care Center
Definitely some massive head trauma
Hope he pulls through and enjoys a healthy retirement
It will cost money but NHRA needs to implement SAFER barriers to the tracks they go to. They should front the cost for these privately owned tracks for this upgrade

they can't let someone that old do something that dangerous. Heck, I worry if I crash on my mountain bike. I can't imagine what would happen crashing in a racing car even with the safety equipment the g forces have to be brutal.
the F1 schedule messed up putting a Sprint race against the ratings juggernaut that is day 2 of the NHL draft. Today the main event in Austria. Given that my sleep schedule is screwed up between jet lag and comimg down with covid I was up in plenty of time for this one.

Man, Leclerc must’ve sacrificed the rest of his season for that Monaco win lol.
The race ended yesterday when Verstappen won thr pole. He is amazing. At this point they need a weird wind incident to maybe upset things.

Didn’t the current Ferrari head say something like every child draws a racing car and colors it red. Somewhere Enzo is rolling over in his grave.
Finally some drama in an F1 race. McLaren and Red Bull collide and both have to pit. Mercedes in the lead all of a sudden. If there was going to be fighting in racing this would have been where you see it. Both guys being pissy.

That was a wiiiiild ending after a pretty boring race. Max hasn’t had to drive like that in some time.

If Piastri had not been penalized and dropped for starting position McLaren may have won anyway.
Today was exciting. Rain and three teams with a competitive car. The two best racers finished 1-2 the best car finished 3-4. McLaren has to realize they are not just happy to be there anymore and have a more coherent strategy. The failure to double pit seems obvious in retrospect as does the new medium tire choice instead of used soft tires with however many laps they had left

wonderful race for the old fox. luckily it wasnt 2 laps longer. crazy how much time oscar lost for 1 extra lap

It’s the story of an unsafe slow car? So about whatever car Checo is driving?
The evolution of F1 continues as McLaren qualify 1-2 ahead of Verstappen for the Hungary race. Hopefully Piastri wins tomorrow to keep the streak of different race winners going. It’s finally interesting to watch these races after thr last couple of years of Verstappen tea bagging everyone else.

I want piastri to win a race so badly. Perez is getting canned after the summer break at this point.
He really has struggled. I won’t be surprised if they call up Tsunoda to replace him
