TotallyHis draft stock just boomed up.

He is far more noticeable in the games I have watched, and has a skillset that projects to be elite at the next level. Players that skate that well, control the puck this well at this size are few and far between. Every time a young player plays well in these scenarios in recent memory it has translated immediately to the NHL. Seider, Quinn Hughes, Matthews, Power all played in world championships against pros and excelled. To me he is a top 3 pick, best raw tools in the draft in my opinion. If the Sens have a chance to get him I hope they do.I’d bet my life savings that Slafkovsky never hits 100 points in a season.
He’s a good prospect, but I don’t even think he’s the best prospect on that last Slovak WJC team. I’d put both Dvorsky and Nemec slightly ahead of him, but it’s highly arguable, could put them in any order really. Great time for Slovak prospects though, these 3 are arguably the top 3 Slovak prospects since Gaborik.

Shame that TPS haven't been able to get more out from him this season. Looked really great in the 1st game of the olympics.
after one game? are you sure? His draft stock just boomed up.

How ironic is that.Looks like Slafkovsky is made for the smaller rink.
I don’t think so, in the “booming” sense at least. Bob McKenzie already said 2 or 3 scouts, already rate him as the second best player in the draft. So I mean how much more can his stock really boom? I think it did show scouts something though, that he can drive a line with average euro players against the best euro players and one of the tourney favorites.after one game? are you sure?
i think he'll still be a top 5 pick anyways, but the points need to display that act he can do on ice. that's how i feel. The Olympics really can help, but these olympics are awful in terms of quality players just because of no NHLI don’t think so, in the “booming” sense at least. He really seems to be developing that signature move, where he uses his huge reach and long stride to quickly wheel out from the corner into the middle of the ice on his forehand side and whip it at the net. His quick bursts and fast release are really on display there.
Yes, agreed. But current olympic teams from Finland or Russia would make some troubles also against teams built from NHLers.i think he'll still be a top 5 pick anyways, but the points need to display that act he can do on ice. that's how i feel. good point. I desire to just see if Juraj is someone who is worthy of a top 5 pick. The Olympics are certainly a good point to prove your worth, even without NHL players.Yes, the Olympics are without NHLers, but surely playing against Finland Euro team is a better match up than playing against a Liiga team...
To say that the quality of players is awful is kinda ignorant. KHL is a pretty darn good league and heaps and bounds better than the AHL.i think he'll still be a top 5 pick anyways, but the points need to display that act he can do on ice. that's how i feel.
