That assist should be added, there are very minor differences between how assists in the KHL and elsewhere (NHL) are counted. It really only concerns moments when opponents touch the puck which in KHL might be deemed as taking possession while in the NHL it would definitely be not.

Having said that, they are known to be very slow on occasion sometimes taking more than a week to review and confirm the final protocol which is most likely what is happening here.
The point i was making was that it was a great pass. Hit Goldobin right on the tape in stride, allowing him to make the entry at full speed, putting pressure on the defense.

What does it have to do with my post?
Yurov is going to be a great two-way forward in the NHL!
What does it have to do with my post? #2

Is today the national quote me day in NA or something?

Kid was clearly a top 10-15 talent in the draft. People who were criticizing his lack of production in the KHL last year when he got practically no opportunity are going to look even more foolish when he tears up the KHL
I had him ranked 4th OV.

No thanks on Yurov. Great talent, but not worth waiting 4+ years for with the risk of not even coming over or bolting back to Russia rather than AHL.

The ELC is such a huge thing in a cap world, and having young guys in their ELC contributing at a young age is a major advantage.

He doesn’t have a long term KHL contract currently and even if he did, they still sign ELCs when they do come over so you arguably get even more cap benefit from having a more developed player on that same cheap contract.

Thats if he doesnt re-sign a KHL contract which lets face it he likely will rather than making less playing in AHL, if he comes to NHL after 24 yrs old his ELC is only for 1 year.

Yurov is going to be NHL ready for 2023/2024.

Sure i guess anything is possible, which is the gamble of the russian factor, because if he is not ready for NHL he will be signing in KHL for at least 2 years so you're not going to see him until 2026 or later, at which point his ELC will be for 1 year i believe.

Can you make me a list of all the players drafted in the first two or three rounds of the draft that didn't come over until they had already turned 24, and thus only eligible for a one year ELC? I'd like to see what kind of odds we're working with here.

By the way, Yurov would have to stay in the KHL until the 2028-29 season in order to only be eligible for a 1 year ELC, being that, on September 15th, 2027, he'll only be 23, and would be eligible for a two year ELC.

Yeah I'm expecting Yurov will come in 2-3 years. These young kids are eager to play in the NHL, so as soon as he feels he's ready he comes. Will he be ready in 2-3 years? Not sure about in 2 years but in 3 years I think he will.

Most of this players are not NHL ready in two years. And rare ones could make real positive impact.
And of course GM`s should interviewed this players. And understand the development curve and timeline. For many teams it would be very good to have 21-23 yo NHL ready impact player with high upside.

He won’t reply to you because the facts don’t actually support what he says at all.

He’s been playing center for his KHL team. He’s producing at a pretty good pace for his age in the KHL despite being limited to 4th line minutes. He probably comes over after this season, right or wrong.

He’s been playing as their 13th forward quite a bit. It’s crazy to me that he’s still getting points every few games despite playing like 3 mins a game.
