That subtle, quick move, at speed, to get a different shooting angle will play well in any league. Nice shot, also.
For me, its the fact he was in that position in the first place to steal the puck. Even if the opponent didn't get handcuffed, he had no good passing lanes. Nice to see from the young kid.

Heating up in the KHL now that he seems to be finally acclimated with the pro mens game and pace. He’s going to be a good one for Minny along with Rossi and Ohgren if they keep at it.

Only can imagine if we would’ve snagged Snuggerud and this guy rather than Ohgren and this guy. Oh well

Ohgren is a good prospect, who knew he would get hurt like that? I am not sure about Snuggerud, since I don't know much about him, but he like Yurov seems to be a boom or bust offensive first player. Ohgren is a physical Landeskog-lite player, good for playoffs, have patience.

yeah, there were vg reports about Ohgren in development camp. He needs to get, and stay, healthy, though. Would i rather have Snuggerud? Yeah...maybe over Yurov, too. Still, none of the three would be bad picks at that position. We are not talking about another Filip Johansson, here.

The Wild may stink this year but in terms of franchise building, tons of positive signs with Rossi breaking through, Faber becoming a franchise rock, Wallstedt lights out and Yurov having a quietly extremely impressive season. Just need Boldy to get on track.

So Yurov now has something like 14 points (5 goals / 9 assists) in 11 games playing center? Can anyone more knowledgable comment on if this looks like a legit move to C? That's huge for his upside as a prospect/player.

It is. Wonder how much higher he'd gone in the draft if teams knew he was a center?

He plays center, he scores goals and points, he's solid on the dot. To me it's pretty legit. He's 20 in 3 weeks, so I hope he will start next season centering Kaprizov.
