It's one of the worst comparisons style and potential wise I have seen in some time.

He's not a 6'4 playmaker with high-end talent and vision. Should go without saying.

Dvorsky is more comparable to someone like Lundell.
Norris was by far best comparison stylistically of course, he could be worse than Norris or better.

I don't agree with that for the reason that, while Dvorsky's shooting ability is good, it's not at Norris' level.

Not a lot of people know what a weapon Norris' one-timer is. It's largely the reason why he was on pace to score 40G last year.

Dvorsky has 65ish point potential if everything works out. I see him as reaching Krejci level of scoring if everything goes well. But I think he will get the tough matchups and take on the other teams best centres so that adds some value. He can run a PP pretty good as well so that will add some points but he’s not going to be a 40 goal scorer. I see 25-30 goals plus 35-40 assists if everything works out.

He needs to work on his skating but I don’t think he has a bad stride, it’s his first step that can let him down. If he can improve that, everything else will be come along too.

I believe he’s played the most minutes of any forward at the U18 tournament through the preliminary stage.

1/2 final without the 2004 generation. Dvorsky's defensive play has been acclaimed this year. He has again just demonstrated that he is capable of making the difference offensively. The junior level, he masters. Let's give him time on the senior circuit. Potential 2nd NHL center. The tournament is not over but this tournament boosts him in the rank estimates. How do you think he will be outside the top 15 ? That the top 10 is closed for him ? He may be a surprise in this draft.

Next year, it will be more complicated because the 2006 generation is weak, but in two years - we will have to rely on Slovakia again. The 2007 generation seems very homogeneous.

Really good hockey player. He is worth to be picking at top 5 in this year draft. Great mature two-way game, great shot, great protection of puck and underrated hands. Not the best skater, but not the worst too. With good development... I see him to become a solid two-way C and 70 points per season.

Dvorsky at 10-12 would be such a steal it’s not even funny. He’s so much more complete than the likes of Smith, Benson, Moore, and Perrault and he’s a centerman with size. He’s already at 200lbs.

I don’t think he’s Kopitar. I see more of a Barkov than anything with a MUCH higher engine.
