Not to nit pick but it can definitely be plural. Its known as “juniors” to everyone in the hockey world, short for “junior hockey”
But back to Stramel, although he is struggling, he was ranked by outlets right around where he was drafted. All it takes is one team to like a kid
He was drafted later than 21st by almost all scouting outlets. I get that he is bigger, but he looks sluggish to me, is an early Bday, and nothing positive sticks out about his offensive game. He'd be a guy that you take a chance on later on in the second because of his size, IMO. I would far rather have had Guerin take Edstrom, Stenberg, Ritchie, or Brindley, among others, but at this point you just have to hope, as a Wild fan, that he is merely in an ugly duckling phase, and that he breaks out sometime.
