Matthew Tkachuk: Pisses off opposing teams by messing with their players.
Brady Tkachuk: Pisses off hf board posters that doubted him by putting up points.

Its in their genetics.
He hasn't pissed me off yet, I'm sure he will in one of the three remaining Leafs/Sens game though.

Pretty crazy how little talk he is generating around here. I realize that the missed games hurt it a bit but everyone seems to already be crowning Pettersson for Calder with Heiskanen and Dahlin with an outside shot while ignoring that Brady Tkachuk, who just got panned here around the draft, is actually PPG in his first 10 games as a teenager.

8 goals in 40 games in college 6 goals in 10 nhl games so far, beauty. So happy he is working out in Ottawa. Does he play for the u.s st the wjc?

Zero chance. He's been told to find a place to live in Ottawa, so he's basically a pro for good.

Serious question here. Whos going to be the better player, Matthew or Brady? Both looking amazing right now.

This kid is a savage. He is such a presence and backs it up by producing.

I remember all the talk pre-draft being about his complete game but there was worry about his offense. When picking in the top 5 you need to nab some offense from a prospect so it makes sense for many people to wonder about him falling somewhere between 6-10.

I was curious to see how he was doing, didn't even realize he made the team!

Yeah, I think we all had our doubts...but I don't think even I could imagine a 19 year old rookie having such a significant impact to the point where the team looks completely different with him on it.

to those of us who stuck by this kid despite the constant bashing/barrage from stat watchers on here - cheers!!

understanding the college game overall, and how his usage and linemates was not indicative of his play and ability was something we kept saying over and over again...but few wanted to listen.

bravo to the Sens for having an actual scouting department that watched this kid play and didn't get caught up in stats as a true freshman.

he has been a gamer for years, a nasty son of a bitch to play against - this kid alone can help save that first round pick heading to Colorado from being a lotto pick!

enjoy him for many many years to come!
