lol what? I think he's already hyped enough by anyone who follows the NHL draft. His nationality has nothing to do with it.If he was American the hype would be through the roof as the Eichel to Bedard’s McDavid.
Were you on HF during that 2014-15 season?lol what? I think he's already hyped enough by anyone who follows the NHL draft. His nationality has nothing to do with it.
I've been on HFboards since before Crosby. But shh, don't tell the mods. Were you on HF during that 2014-15 season?
He thinks everyone else is as obsessed with nationality as he is.lol what? I think he's already hyped enough by anyone who follows the NHL draft. His nationality has nothing to do with it.
It is because nobody is feeling the need to pump his tires.I've been on HFboards since before Crosby. But shh, don't tell the mods.
But seriously, I don't agree with you. The fact that Owen Power was Canadian didn't exactly hurt him. It's just not relevant, you'll need to make a stronger case as to why it is because I'm not seeing it.
I stand by thisBold take: he goes #1
Still feeling this way ?He can kiss 2OA next year a wet and sloppy goodbye.
You've been dwelling on this for almost seven years? Would it make you feel better to call Fantilli the Eichel to McDavid's Bedard? The reality is nothing Fantilli will do this year will cause him to unseat Bedard. The fact some posters are jumping on that bandwagon is amusing, but then again HF is built on the micro and is hot take central. It is because nobody is feeling the need to pump his tires.
Throughout the 2014-15 season, we had a number of Americans pushing the comparison with McDavid hard. No one is simply a big enough fan of college hockey to try to make that kind of case, which inherently stirs up tons of discussion, for Fantilli.
Dwelling? No. I am simply perceiving a parallel between McDavid-Eichel and Bedard-Fantilli, which you are free to disagree with, that has not extended to similar levels of heated debate. You've been dwelling on this for almost seven years? Rather the impression that Connor Bedard is a similarly talented player to Jack Hughes.I think Bedard is on the same level as McDavid, or that Fantilli is in the same level as Eichel in terms of prowler profile. I think Fantilli is closer to Eichel though than Bedard to McDavid. I think Eichel was just an ultra elite athlete/slater
Do you have to go to every thread to talk about how mistreated and underhyped Canadian players are?If he was American the hype would be through the roof as the Eichel to Bedard’s McDavid.

Anyway, strong start to the season by Fantilli and if he keeps this up it'll be very interesting to see how the draft goes. Although he of course is not likely to keep scoring at 2.5 points per game.
