Ugh. Pick lines and stick to them. They need a little time to develop chemistry. Constantly changing things doesn't help.

Ideally you pick lines that make sense and stick with them, yes. The issue is changing lines into setups that never made sense in the first place.

If NA goes undefeated in prelims, they're the only team to do that. It wasn't their fault the league made them play Europe and Czech. For all we know Team Europe has a good tournament, and NA was just too much for them to handle.

Czech beat Russia, NA isn't playing well and is easily the better team.

You're kind of making the point for me. They beat Europe, and they still showed some questionable play at times. They aren't going to get away with the run and gun play that worked against Europe.

Your analysis is really lacking here. It's narrow-minded, and doesn't really consider the opposition, or give them due respect. On paper is all well and good, but the hockey needs to be played. Physically, and defensively, Team NA doesn't match up. If Team NA has the puck, they're good. When they don't, they aren't.

McDavid and co too. Game opening up a bit more for NA but defensively they're onnly marginally better here.

This first PP unit needs work. Basically no pick movement, too much individual skill. It doesn't help that they burn the entire 2 minutes of every PP without switching either. Why isn't Ekblad/Rielly on the unit?

It's ALL he's done this tournament.

He's been buzzing and creating lots of chances, they need to get the lines worked out.

McDavid easily could have 4-6 assists through the games so far. He'll be fine.

I'm not saying they suck. But you're massively overrating them, and seemingly based on their performance against a weak team.

He needs to have his linemates switched. Him and eichel have next to no chemistry. Get him scheifele who he played good with in the 1st game. I think matthews or gaudreau would complete that line, but if the coach wants to try something new, than go with larkin on the line.

I swear all I see him do is shoot short side and miss or hit the goalie.

As much as I like McDavid, that sequence was terrible by him.
