Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of talent here, but not as much big game experience.

On paper, Canada is the only team that can challenge NA. Even in this game, NA is playing awful and they're still generating the better chances. Only a matter of time until they break out.

Wouldn't mind any combination of Scheif, Matthews, or Saad on McDavid's line right about now.

This is so true, I can't believe that MacLellan being his coach isn't seeing this. Can Cooper take over as head coach? MacLellan's ridiculously overrated. The one line that had so much chemistry last game he split up by taking out the centre.

The game is played on the ice, and on the ice Team NA is very questionable defensively, from the forwards and defensemen.

Lol good riddance, its an exhibition game. Why wouldn't he try more combinations to see what might work? I'm sure he'll go with the ones that have worked once the tournament starts. Also you can't be serious if you think all the coaches don't have input into the line pairings in this.

Makes no sense. I'm not happy, like he knows McDavid plays best with a power forward on his line.

Nuge-MacKinnon were the best pairing together both games, why have they been separated? Nuge and MacKinnon play styles that mesh well together. Nuge plays a responsible 200 foot game and MacKinnon likes to drive the play with his puck on the stick.

If NA goes undefeated in prelims, they're the only team to do that. It wasn't their fault the league made them play Europe and Czech. For all we know Team Europe has a good tournament, and NA was just too much for them to handle.

Czech beat Russia (and outshot them 34-21), NA isn't playing well and is easily the better team.

The games don't count yet, he probably wants to get as many good chemistry pairs going as he can throughout the lineup, and knows he can come back to RNH-Mackinnon-Drouin when the tournament starts if it makes sense.

Ugh. Pick lines and stick to them. They need a little time to develop chemistry. Constantly changing things doesn't help.
 
Any one else getting bored of McDavid racing in the zone, taking a shot from just under the circle and missing the net?

It's ALL he's done this tournament.
 
Again, what was wrong with McDavid and Gaudreau together? They created so much together, just couldn't bury one.

Throw Matthews or Scheifele on the RW and leave it alone.

I can't for the life of my figure out why they would breakup the Drouin - RNH - Mackinnon line.
