I don't even care about the penalties, this serves Sweden right, coming out floating their way through the second period, haha..

Laine's having the same problems Zacha was in preseason last year. Different level of competition, but there's likely going to be an adjustment period for him.

i hope risto can be as good as hedman in his prime though i doubt Risto will ever have Victor's skating ability so beautiful for a big man.

I hope Sweden steps up in the 3rd. Feels like they stopped playing once they were up by 2 goals and even more so when they scored the 3rd goal.

Well for the first time in My adult life i feel that sweden is not a gold medal contender in a best on best

Lol, I guess the refs want this to be a game when it isn't. So many soft penalties.

That the Finns got a PP from that scrum is laughable, it's the epitome of an even scrum.

The scrum was fairly even but Silfverberg cross-checked Granlund high/near neck.

Finns are looking pretty good 5 v 5.

Vatanen looks better than on Thursday....shame about the own goal.

Refs giving Finland free ticket into the game..

Quite a few non calls on Sweden so far, too, so that is inaccurate. Either way the refs are not quite as bad as they were in the other game. It has actually balanced out a bit.

I think SWE just thought the game was over and stopped playing. So they gave Finland free ticket back into the game.

Really? Are we watching the same game? What's with all the swedish supporters being so eager to jump on their own team? Sweden has been better both in PP and 5v5, and with a margin.
Really, it's not like Finland has dominated. Sweden has been too passive and defensive though, they've laid down on the pressure. Pretty natural with a 3 goal lead though.

Exactly this. SWE let off a bit. I expect them to get around for the third and get a couple more.

Donskoi has been a beast today, Laine hasn't really looked as good as i expected. He looks awfully slow and lazy out there so far. Still has a period to turn it around

Should have been a slashing penalty on Finland in the same situation.

To who? You saw a slashing there? It was a clear penalty because puck was in play and you're not allowed to cross check someone in the neck or chest like that. Granny and him both got 2 min roughing penalties for the scrum after the cross check
