Wonder what Europe's game plan for the next period is. Going to be hard to keep up with the speed and I don't think they can bring the physicality.

Should have been Slovakia or something + the NA team. NA has piss n vinegar and youthful arrogance to motivate them.

Team Europe. . . ?

Although I am sad to admit it, if Slovakia iced a full team against this NA squad, we would get disgustingly obliterated, like way more than what is happening right now.

Some of the gloating here is just bizarre.

"The young guns are fast so that means the naysayers were wrong!"

As if a supposed lack of speed was ever the argument against this idea.

Hasn't been just the speed, it's also the intensity and great checking.

Gotta give them their due so far, they are playing like they want it.

I think they're trying hard, but it's an exhibition, NA is playing like it's the cup final.

Full out every shift. It's ridiculous lol.

You can tell it's the young enthusiasm that's giving them a boost. Wonder how long that'll last but it sure is fun to watch at the moment.

Alright need to start burying some goals here boys. Keep up the pressure :yo:

Get that 1st one, and the floodgates will open.

Watching Eichel play reminds of the questions I have around his play without the puck, would like to see him be more aggressive.

U23 team is fun as hell, going to destroy the Finns with this speed.

Eichel's entire rookie year was predicated around Bylsma and the coaching staff teaching him 2-way skills and defensive responsibilities.

Eichel's drive starts always seem to start deeper in his own zone. When he pushes out he's being driven wide and the defense is containing him.

I wish Eichel would be up higher on the circles and rush the middle like McDavid does.
