Avs must be f***ing praying that we turn this trash into something passable for the bottom pairing otherwise we gave a 2nd and 4th away for nothing. Hate the price we paid. We also gave up a 3rd for Parssinen so this is a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th for a terrible defensman and a 4th liner.

Long gone are the days for 2nds for Toews or a 2nd and a 3rd for Burakovsky, I see.

Wow I’m surprised how many people hate this deal considering the Rangers have been able to even make guys like Shesty and Fox look bad this season.

Not expecting Lindgren to be the second coming of Toews, but I expect this to be a much needed upgrade on the defensive side after being able to escape New York.

Sucks to lose the draft picks and Parsnips, but this trade could easily turn into a steal if we can help Lindgren return to form.

Lindgren better have some upside that can blossom in Colorado because, oof. That is a rough trade when you include the picks. Otherwise it's just moving pieces around, which can be beneficial. No one is sad to see DeHaan go, and Parssinen wasn't getting anything. In that vacuum it's fine. Vesey and Lindgren aren't anything to be pumped about, but so it goes.
Add in those picks? Yeah, Lindgren best be a revelation.

2nd + 4th feels like a lot. Lindgren has been bad this year but was really good before this season.

3rd pairing LD to replace the carousel of De Haan, Kylington and Middleton.

Hes coming with 50% retention so there's a possibility of more moves coming.

He hasn't been good this year but he's was pretty good a couple years ago and is not that old. Who knows maybe with less ice time he can regain his form on a different team. Rangers haven't been good this year.
