Wouldn't mind seeing Matthews and Drouin switch places going into the 2nd period. Drouin + MacKinnon reunite and McDavid's line gets another player who's great at protecting the puck.

Matthews and McDavid look very good thus far. McDavid and Kopitar both look like two of the best C's in the NHL.

The forecheck is great by this team, and the speed is so much that they are just curling and finding player after player for chances, a lot of time d-men pinching in.

Halak has had to be Team Europes best player.

Much to everyone's amazement I'm sure. He's usually so damn mediocre that I feel sorry for the man. Watch him win this though just because!

Nuge hasn't gotten a chance to do anything international wise really that I know of. Well he has, but more meaningful tournaments. He's either always been injured or wasn't invited. I can see why he's "lively".

Think they work well, Scheifele brings that meat and potatoes mentality and makes some space with McDavid's speed. This entire team has been so fun to watch so far with the combinations.
