This game didn't happen. Canada is supposed to dominate every best on best game with their C team, at least from what I've read.

Until we're eliminated, or even beaten in a best on best International Tournament, Canada will remain the best Hockey nation in the world. I'm confident we'll win the World Cup, even with some of our best players injured and some VERY questionable selections.

They have long memories, so they know it's best to get the digs in early. Chance probably won't come again

Thank you.

Our guys will adapt. Hockey is our game, our pride and self-identity hurts when we lose, but some humility and bowing our head in respect makes us better.

Classy in victory and classy in defeat. GDTs get heated, but afterwards we should always show respect win or lose.

Hey these games are emmotional and I don't mean all Canadians but there's been some really unnecessary comments that my post was directed at, not you because you obviously get it. It's just frustrating when you can't be proud of your team and have losses from six years ago throw in your face. Best of luck to you.

Long way to go obviously, but a best of 3 final with these two teams would be amazing to watch. They might kill each other

It has not been hard to see the offenders on both sides, and it has been split pretty even.

Let's all just enjoy the games and have fun, not saying we can't chirp at each other a little but we know what is silly and crosses the line.

Game on Wayne! It's too bad people get too into the game rather than the brotherhood it provides. US-CAN stuff does get ugly though.

Well Canada, you always have ketchup chips. i long for those. i hate ketchup, and i don't like potato chips, but something about ketchup chips...i get weak.

You must feel some proud about that meaningless pre-tournament win. Goodluck winning the Cup with the likes of Brandon Dubinsky, and Justin Abdelkater skating around.:naughty:

I have to admit the style the US played tonight I loved. Reminds me of the playing style of the Canadian Juniors during the 5 year winning streak.

There was some good old fashioned hockey tonight. Unfortunately not by the Canadian players.

Obviously one exhibition game means nothing but the US has now set the tone so others will have to watch out for them and adapt.

Naw, I lived in NorCal for 5 years and never got hooked on your ale Bruh!

Now your wineries are a different matter by the way! :thumbu:

I live on the wine trail. Mad diff grapes by lake Ontario. Big apple country, too.

Yeah, it gives us tape to review as well.

I feel like many of my Northern brethren don't get banter very well....

Pretty ridiculous for people sayin USA has no skill when 3 of the players on this team were in the top 10 in NHL scoring this past season including the #1 scorer in Kane. And it would be 4 top 10s if Gaudreau was allowed to play. But yeah USA has no skill.

Well said, and well backed by the "I know what I saw" clause.

Who said that? Biggest complaint I saw was usa left off alot skilled players not that they weren't skilled as a team

When you choose guys like Abdelkader and Dubinsky over Kessel and Johnson, it's obvious your team is built to goon it up, not win with skill.

I don't see the U.S. beating Canada in Toronto. Plus by than, Price will have shaken Off the rust. Torts style of collapsing around the net and blocking shots has gotten old for me and will get someone seriously hurt. It's like watching the Rangers when he was there.
