Remember when Vatanen was actually confident in the offensive zone ? Honestly that's where his strenghts should be, but he's looking like a rookie playing his first game against big boys.

He's been really bad in these pre-tournament games.

I'm not sure its his confidence, he's always had confidence. He just looks like he doesn't really care. He's been criticized in the past (I believe by Boudreau) for not trying very hard in practices. Hopefully he turns it up for the real games.

Good sequence by Finland!

I really feel like the forwards have mostly played ranging from okay to well. The defensemen on the other hand have been AWFUL almost without exception. Lepistö has probably been the best after he got through the first few minutes. Apart from that it's completely dysfunctional.
