Quick had a great game. We had plenty of good chances, we just didn't really have the luck on our side. Maybe it was karma for not putting Laine out there on the 6-on-4.

Interview of Marjamäki after the match, no question asked about the lack of Laine. Good reporting...

I agree but also understand Marjamäki. Laine can be very risky player, he makes still stupid decisions at times trying to pass through 3-4 players. Marjamäki wanted experience in the last minutes, Laine has the shot, but also is prone to mistakes on PP. We have seen that many times, don't close eyes from that.

He was Finland's best forward all game and sniped one earlier in the 3rd and had full confidence going.

No reason not to put him out there.

Good thing we got Jokinen off the first line, things seemed to click better for him too. I don't like Vatanen on the ice with Laine on the powerplay, he (Vats) looked selfish at times when he could've fed Laine.

Yeah, guessing something like this too. Pulling the goalie early I suppose coach wanted to have a puck possession. Which they did. Could've let Laine in for the final minute ir so though.
