I read an article earlier this year (with all kinds of advanced stats examples, year over year etc.) where it showed DDK is worth $4.3-$4.4M. He's over paid by 500-600K & has been Kenny signed him...he should've never been paid more than Kronwall ($4.75m), while Kronner was on the team.

Depends what Dekeyser you get.
If you get the 16-17 model, you are getting rooked.
If you get the 17-18 model, you are still getting ripped.
If you get the 18-19 model, Dekeyser's worth it.

That's mainly a health question. At least there has now been time to heal and do extra workouts, like never before.

Because of these special conditions, I could have a hunch that we will see the best DeKeyser ever on the ice.

I was just effing around on CapFriendly, and noticed that Seider's career earnings are at $255,000. That leads me to believe he's being paid at the NHL level of his contract while in the SHL. Am I right about this? Maybe thst's why he's turning down the chance to play in the WJC.

Or maybe it's a signing bonus. I don't know that much about the loaning of NHL players.

2 x ELC signing bonus + 1 AHL season.

Basic NHL system how money is delivered.

Is Marchand a better fighter or stronger than that dude? (Serious question)
Looks like both:

The rat is short, but has a really strong grip. He managed to go against PK Subban without getting his ass kicked. He's laid a few punches on Euros who don't know how to fight like Eller.

berggren zooming around the rink with the puck on his stick the way he does reminds me of nikolaj ehlers

Maybe I am attributing it to the wrong person but I think @Frk It or somebody made that comparison post draft.

What I care most about is Berggren is finally finding a way to the middle of the ice. The perimeter version was a lot more tough to project, glad to see him rounding the edges after coming off all those injuries. I also don't doubt being that banged up hurt some of his aggressiveness, so maybe more of this was always there than I had seen.

I like when Ehlers does it, and he learned this as well but you have to eventually attack. Fiala struggled with this too for a while before breaking out. Goals in the NHL happen in the middle of the ice, even Kane and Kucherov make their way to those areas and they are as talented as it gets on the perimeter. Goalies are too good to beat from out there consistently.

Couldn't agree more. Also, if you are perimeter player on big European ice, you will absolutely be a perimeter player on the smaller NA sheet. I am glad he is showing progress in that department.

Marchand is only 5'9', so low center of gravity+stout body mass. There is nothing special about him as a fighter vs. anyone, even in this match. He just hung on close to Hronek & used a bit of leverage.
