He needs to be the deep lying playmaker, but because he cost so much, they keep trying to make him work further up the pitch. Lavia is better for that role anyway.

He's an AM today and his first touch has been a disaster and he isn't much of a shooting threat. Not sure what the point is.

Savinho has done the hard part of getting past Chelsea guys at least few times, but then lacks the final ball and takes the safe route of passing back and all his previous work goes to waste.

Enzo is at his best from deep when he can utilize his great passing range. The issue is you need to staple someone beside him to defend and cover because he can't do that. The midfield never worked with him and Gallagher and/or Caicedo as both roam a lot and it would badly expose Enzo.

Wasn’t even like he made a run slightly early. He just wandered offside and, despite staring straight across the line, made zero attempt to get back onside.

Jackson had a good season last year overall, but he cannot stay onside. Looks like he hasn't done enough training in that still.
