It's not just the minutes, no other two players in the NHL have the entire team's success put on their shoulders and full responsibility to basically carry all the offence.

Laughable that people are blaming Draisaitl for the failures of this team. If RNH could manage to be better than a 4th liner and first year NHLer the team would actually be decent. He needs to be btter. Better than having a goal against in the first 11 seconds of the game at least.

One is greatest talent the sport has seen since Lemieux. You cannot expect anyone else to play at that level night in, night out.

People got carried away with that start. Leon is a very good player, but Scottie Pippen sure as **** ain't no Michael Jordan.

Could get behind Drai having a bad game once or twice a week, sure, but he hasnt even showed up for 5 weeks.

If we want something substantial in return then yes. RNH at this point would be a cap dump

I know you hate Draisaitl but trading him would be a fail, I'm being sarcastic. You are right that RNH is worthless ATM though.

Shown up to what? This team has 1 first line and 3 4th lines (with the so-called 2nd line C being the worst of the bunch).

He's a terrific player. People thinking he was McDavid 2.0 were smoking crack though. McDavid is on a tier well beyond other players.

I agree, hes a product of McDavid, if he wasnt he would be centering a second line AKA Malkin, and this team would be a contender.

Drai could fetch a Dahlin. RNH would fetch Bogosian.
Drai looks good because rest of the forward group is garbage. Star for sure but nothing close to McDavid or what his points suggest.
Dahlin is a legit franchise player.

Malkin is like the closest thing to Mario Lemieux in a literal sense, he's really probably the 3rd or 4th best player in the world.

Draisiatl is a Kopitar-Sedin tier player ... boo hoo ... poor Oilers can't freaking build a team with a player that good and then another generational player on top of that.

Trading Drai is not the answer

Drai figuring out how to be the player he can be is the long term solution.

Even then us upgrading the forward group with no cap space would remain a challenge.
We are going to have this 6M bottom 6 for the next 5yrs.

Let me add. Katz makes Ballard and Wirtz look like good owners.

Gotta make sure we keep spending big bucks on 3rd pairing D like Larsson and Russell.

Drai gets his point(s) when one of his backhand passes actually gets through or when he one times a McPass but he is nothing close to Kopitar or Sedin otherwise. Sedins were a threat every shift and Kopitar is much more polished defensively.

Draisaitl would eat a 23 year old Sedin alive and shit them out as a German sausage.

People have ridiculous expectations of him and McDavid here. No one else is the league is asked to carry the load they are asked to at that age.

Bear and Nurse would eventually get paid. Klefbom is making pocket change.. out D won't get cheaper that's for sure.

Absolute horseshit. But expected.

I don't think Buffalo would part with Dahlin for Draisaitl alone.

At the game. Surrounded by Phlegms fans. Is this hell?
Posted in the GDT. Of course it's liked by a Phlegms fan that idolized Lanny McDonald. Probably one of the most mediocre players ever worshiped in the NHL. If it wasn't for that one fluke cup, Canucks > Flames LOL

Draisaitl and Eichel would be fire together. You'd be surprised what Drai would return in a trade. Maybe we'll find out soon.
Maybe I'm over-rating him but I would rank Dahlin second after McDavid in a franchise draft (ahead of Eichel, Hedman, etc...).
