Haas >>> RNH

I'ma quote myself / Kanye.

But seriously, the whole game (and many before), Haas makes a play, loses the puck and recovers against NHL players, and makes another high end play. What has RNH done?

Put him on the 2nd line and he's 3rd in ES guaranteed.

Our depth isnt really the issue right now.

Our good players, Klefbom, Nuge, Drai no showing like they are is whats killing us.

2 top 6 forwards and a top 4 dman.

Yes our top end players have not been playing well recently but besides McDrai, Kassian, and Neal, not one of our other forwards is on pace for even 15 goals this season. That’s pretty bad

Can't really give Holland credit for the neal trade. It was an obvious bad contract for bad contract trade target. Everything else he's done from buying out Sekera, getting crap for bottom 9 forwards to drafting Broberg has been questionable. Not impressed at all. Team obviously needed some tinkering for months now and he's done nothing. He reminds me of Tambo. A goofy guy who lucked out.

Maybe the exotic business as well? Lube business? Since you're ok with taking it up the rear by this org. Same thing year after year....

You think that hey. Thats all you got?

Three years in a row they've been in a playoff spot on Christmas Day thanks largely to McDavid + Draisaitl.

Three years in a row they've gone in a tail spin right around the same time.

You can't ride 2-3 players this hard and think there is never going to be a drop off or consequences. There is a sport where that's doable, it's called the NBA (not a knock, NBA athletes are amazing), but if that's what you want, maybe you'd be better served checking that out. This isn't the NBA.

They are playing a extra minute a game more then other star forwards. Most due to staying out on the PP for a full 2 mins.

Its a cop out for Drai to be hitting the wall. Either a injury or just plain lazy.

It's not just the minutes, no other two players in the NHL have the entire team's success put on their shoulders and full responsibility to basically carry all the offence.

Exactly.

It happened with Hall before too. It's impossible to not cheat towards offense if you know your team isn't going to score (or win) unless you do.

So one is still producing at a great rate, and the other is MIA.

Doesnt make any sense to me.

One is greatest talent the sport has seen since Lemieux. You cannot expect anyone else to play at that level night in, night out.

People got carried away with that start. Leon is a very good player, but Scottie Pippen sure as f*** ain't no Michael Jordan.
